LSM6DSO VDD and VDDIO sequencing and dependancy

Good day

I am using LSM6DSO with 3V3 VDD and 1V8 VDDIO.

Can the supplies(VDD and VDDIO) be ON/OFF independently or is there a requirement for one of the two to be ON before the other?

In my instance the VDD might come on before the VDDIO and in other circumstance the VDD might be switched OFF and VDDIO might remain ON.

The device functions in I2C mode. Does CS have to be HIGH when VDD is applied or can CS be changed/set dynamically after VDD was applied?

Would this pose a problem?

Thank you.

Hi @AWolf.3 ,

VDD and VDDIO can be ON/OFF independently.

In I2C mode the CS have to be high but, contrary to what you wrote, it is preferable to be connected to the VDDIO.
