What is self-test in IIS3DWB and what is the criteria to indicate pass or fail??

Hi @Aalekh ,

Welcome to ST Community!

The embedded self-test functions allow checking the device functionality without moving it. When the self-test is enabled, an actuation force is applied to the sensor, simulating a definite input acceleration. 

The completed procedure is described in the section 8 of AN5444:

What to do if Self-test data is not in specified range?

Hi @Aalekh ,

It means that the self test failed.

Can you share the output values with and without self-test enabled? Which FS did you set? Please note that the values we give are for 2g.
