Thank you for the answer but as far as i know they are not available from the system manufacturer

 Is there a equivalent that can be purchased say from mouser

No, there is no direct alternative, but I've seen some proposal anywhere in the internet to replace this device using an adapter board and another device. Unfortunately I don't remember the URL anymore, but you should be able to find it using your favorite search engine.
