Datalog2 cannot change Acquisition Name, Description, or Tag Labels for ST Tile Box Pro

I have a STEVAL-MKBOXPROm and I flashed "STM32CubeFunctionPack_DATALOG2_V3.1.0"  (DATALOG2_Release.bin) to it. In the ST BLE App, I can start and stop an acquisition, edit which sensors are logged, and edit the fillenames. However, the acquistion_info.json file does not show my updates Acquisition Name, Description, or any of the Tag Names. I tried rebooting my phone and the device. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hello @ef1576932

Once you wrote the desired name, did you click the “send” button on the keyboard?

I've just replicated your setup with both Android and iOS apps versions and it’s working properly.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. I can improve the documentation and add this to avoid other customers doing the same error.

Best regards,

Simone

Hello @ef1576932

During the Christmas holidays, we released an updated version of FP-SNS-DATALOG2. Also the STBLESensor app has just been aligned with the latest v3.2.0 release. Can you check if the issue persists with v3.2.0 also? You can upgrade the firmware via FOTA using STBLESensor app, via USB and using an external debugger using STM32CubeProgrammer. Here you can find detailed instructions.

Best regards,

Simone

Thanks Simone! The new firmware and updated app did not fix the file naming issue unfortunately. I can confirm that the app states I am running Firmware Version U585_HSD2v32_3.2.0 and under Board Configuration, it calls this FP-SNS-DATALOG2_Datalog2v3.2.0 on Bank 1. I am running this on Android as well.

Thanks Simone! That worked. I had been clicking out of the text field instead of hitting "send". I assumed it had sent or saved because the text field held onto the text when I exited the field or even switched to the Sensors tab. Thank you for helping me find a solution!!
