I would like to find a data sheet on a discontinued ST ic. It is a L9143. It is used in a car instrument cluster to control the needle motors.

L9143 does not show up in any of our internal databases , so no datasheet, sorry.

Bryan, thanks for looking. I have found in my new job, there is little or no information on car instrument clusters. No circuit diagrams or data sheets on microprocessors etc. Ah well I’ll press on. Thanks again.

It is very likely in the high volume competative auto market, that parts will be made specifically for the customer, and information on the parts would be controlled, even if currently in production. :)
