HiI am implementing CAN2 in STMCube IDE in loopback mode for microcontroller STM32F105. I have connected the tranciever to pins PB5 and PB6. this is the schematic: I can transmit the data but I do not receive it. I'm trying to get started with the STUSB4500QTR and at this point have not changed anything in the device but at the same time I am not using any of its capabilities. The attached schematic shows where I am now. The intent is that a PC (right now just Windows 10) would connect into the 'C' connector and a pigtail connector would carry the D+/D- lines on the the 'C' connector on a Raspberry Pi 4B+. That's what I'm trying to get going now. Eventually, my board (the schematic) would extract power, but that is not my immediate concern.Right now, if I plug the 'C' cable from the PC directly into the Pi, it works is gadget serial mode - what I want. However, when I plug the PC into my board and the pigtail into the Pi, Windows does not recognize the device.The pigtail is cut from an 'A' to 'C' adapter cable. The green/white wires are soldered into the test points. The Black and shield are wired in to ground on the PCB. (Red wire is left floating.) All wires are kept as short as possible.What

The LSM303AHTR sensor is housed in an enclosure and that vibration is limited due to the stability of the housing. During windy condition the sensor constantly transmit false signals even though there was little to no movement to the Accelerometer and no metal objects passing by the Magnetometer. First, we detect tampering using the z-axis accelerometer.  When upright, the z-axis acceleration is -9.8m/s^2; if inverted it is 9.8m/s^2.  We’re using the +/-2g setting, so basically +/- 50% of full scale from right side up to upside down.  If the driveway monitor is not vertical, the z-axis reading is reduced as the angle from vertical increased ( z-axis = 0 if sensor is horizontal).  I think we chose somewhere around 30 degrees or more as the tamper indication.  So, if it falls on the ground or someone picks it up without keeping it vertical, a tamper signal is sent. Wind False triggers:  We use changes in the magnetic field to detect vehicles.

Hello to the ST engineers or anyone familiar with problems when programming the STSAFE devices: We are seeing about 10% of our STSAFE-A110 devices permanently fail during initial programming. Per the guidance in Section 5.2 of the data sheet (linked below), in our design we are connecting RESET to VCC, we have a 100nF ceramic cap from VCC to GND, and we also have a 4.7uF tantalum cap from VCC to GND. Any suggestions on what may be causing this permanent failure? How critical is S_VCC specified in Table 4? If the Vcc pin is above 0.3V at power-on (see 5.2.2), could this explain the behavior? Hi, I wonder if the analog switch STG3692 can be used with +5V. I have concerns because recommended voltage value is +4.3V in the datasheet while absolute maximum is +5.5V, is there any risks about thermal conditions at that level? What do you suggest?Thanks for nowsenanur

i am working with black pill board  that uses stm32f401ccand i have a debugger that was attached to neucleo board stm32f401re and i broke it from the board , the black bill debug pins only have the ground and the 3.3 and the swsck and the swdio ,i connected the debggeer of the neculo and it is working fine with it but i want to enable the swo pin to be able to use printf , should i connect the swo of the debugger to the pin pb3 of the black bill board direclty after enableing the trace async sw from the cube mx and it will work? or should i add some resistor for protection between the two pins ,and does adding a 1k between the two pins resistor for exmaple will affect anything ?

I drive an AC motor with a triac.AC is a differential voltage, and the differential voltage of 220VAC is 440VAC.Then, what size voltage can be used when using the BTA16-600BW model?220VAC?? Is 380, 440VAC also possible?

I use M24C64-R eeprom. If power is cut off during its write cycle, the data in writing address will become corrupted. In the other hands, will the data out of writing address be kept or become corrupted too?

Hi Experts.I have a project that requires a circuit design using VN5T006ASP-E and VND5T016ASP-E. The temperature of use is -40°C to 85°C. The VN5T006ASP-E needs to pass a continuous current of 10A, and the VND5T016ASP-E needs to pass a current of 5A on each of the two channels, can this be achieved? As shown in the figure below, the manual does not give a specific labeling of how much current can be passed.What is the maximum current that can be passed by VN5T006ASP-E and VND5T016ASP-E? I Having Two Board In which stm32F439nI Micro-Controller  Mounted on it. While Connecting with the STM Utility Software , one Board Display  flash Size but didn't Show revision Id, Same Way i Connected Another board but it Doesn't Display Flash Size neither Revision Id.In 1st Board am Available to Flash Directly Using the IJET Debugger but in 2nd Board I have to Flash Code with Help of STM ultility Software.I Checked the Firmware Version Both Having Same but in Option Byte option only one Difference,  in Working Board DB1M Option Unchecked While in Another Non Working Board DB1M is Checked.Am Also Attaching the Working and Non Working Board STM Utlility Software

I'm trying to use a VL53L4CD with a micro.  BTW the platform.c file is wrong.  It says byte swapping is required for big-endian processors.  In reality byte swapping is required for LITTLE=endian processors.  Got past that and a number of other mistakes on my part.  I can read the 16 bit ID (10F-110).  But I can't init the device.  Calls to the init function always return 255.  I have stepped through it and everything looks good until it checks for ready, where it times out waiting.  The ready function reads two bytes, shifting bit 4 of the first one down to bit 0 and inverting it (through a rather convoluted process).  It than compares that to bit 0 of another byte.  The first byte is 0x11, which results in a 0 after the manipulation.  The second byte is a 1, so it always fails.  Since the data sheet doesn't document any of this, I can't move past that.BTW, after the program gets to this point and fails, accessing the ID
