using the USBUF01W6 IC for self powered USB device with full speed connection

Can i give 5V DC volt BUS POWER from HOST to it? as it will also be used for pullup on D+ lines

Dear,

Yes, you can use USBUF01W6 to protect D+ and D-, and also to connect pullup resistor to set low speed or full speed device. Vbus will not be connected to this part, but should be protected by another part, such as ESDA7P120-1U1M.

is there any replacement part for USBUF01W6,

i would like to supply 5V to USB filter IC & it's resistor through the power coming from USB cable i.e. HOST

So device pull up will remain active when VBUS is high

Dear,

Min voltage is 0V and Max voltage is 5V, on all pins, in reference to GND.

Pull up should be connected to 3.3V, to set full speed or low speed.

EMIF02-USB01F2 can be used on USB full speed / low speed, it integrates:

  • pull up resistor to set full speed or low speed, to be connected to 3.3V
  • ESD protection on D+, D-, Vbus, ID, 3.3V of pullup resistor
  • RC filtering

hi, for USBUF01W6---datasheet shows only 3.3V, & does not have other information

can you share if any other document is available for it
