What is 3.3V Vref in this circuit design of A6986? Do I need to supply 3.3V to this pin?

I want 9-30V to 8V and I don't have any 3.3V voltage in my circuit. Is it okay if I don't connect anything here?

Welcome, @LTunc.1, at the community!

The VREF pin is an output and can be used to supply external circuitry with a reference voltage of 3.3 V + -3%, max 5mA, as stated in the datasheet, table 4.

So no, you don't need to apply a 3.3V voltage to this pin, you are not allowed to either.

Good luck!
