Contact for verifying possible counterfeit chips?

We've found several STM32 MCUs with what appear to be poorly executed laser engravings. Is there anyone I can contact to get an official opinion on these chips?

We are not the firm that designed and built the boards. We are reviewing other firm's boards and do not have access to supplier or similar information.
