Question

The simulink blockset (stm32/mat) does not work with Matlab 2018b, Is there a plan to correct this? version 4.4.2 is rather old,

STM32/Mat is great despite several bugs, it works with Cube a generates readable C code.

It seems that development has stopped over a year a go at version 4.4.2 and now it does not work at all with the new version of Matlab (2018b).

Are there plans to abandon this product or ther ewill be a newer version?

I am teaching an undergraduate level course with a Lab and need to decide how to proceed,

thanks

Hi @IBu ,

It is expected to have a new version for STM32-Mat/Target on 2019Q1 supporting R2018b MATLAB version.

Is there an expected release date for the updated version of STM32-Mat/Target? We are unable to use new features of 2018b due to the incompatibility with STM32-Mat/Target.

Hi @IBu  ,

The version 5.1.0 of STM32-MAT/TARGET has just been released at the end of July 2019.

Be aware that a lot of changes were involved in this release (in detail, alignment with STM32CubeMX version 5.1.0 and Matlab 2018b).

It is strongly recommended to upgrade to the most recent version of STM32-MAT/TARGET.

Regards.
