Disable L6924D maximum charging time

According to datasheet, L6924D has the possibility to set a maximum charging time, defined according to the capacitor connected in TPRG pin. But what should be done if the maximum charging time limit is undesirable?

Can I short TPRG to GND to achieve an "infinite" capacitance, resulting in an infinite maximum charging time?

Hey guys, someone knows what will happen if I short TPRG to GND? The L6924D will still work properly, without the maximum charging time limit?
