Harmonic Distortion measurement

Hello,

We are using STPM33 IC in our design. I want to measure Harmonic Distortion. Can any one suggest me how to measure Harmonic Distortion?

Hi,

Just guessing : from the chip you can get :

-> so (energy - fundamental energy) = distortion energy .

-> distortion energy / (energy /100 ) = distortion (%) .

ex.: 150W energy , 140W fund.energy -> 10W distortion

10W / 1,5 W = 6,7 (%)
