Hello,

I am using STCS1APHR constant current LED driver.

CASE 1:

I pull up Enable pin to VCC and pull down pwm pin to GND with 10K resistor.

CASE 2:

I pull Down Enable pin to GND and pull down pwm pin to GND with 10K resistor.

But in both cases the led gets turn on momentarily when i turns on the power supply. please help me to solving the problem.

On the normal design, there is a capacitor between Drain and ground, which pulls current through the led sting while it charges. This causes the blink. If you connect the cap between drain and Vin (Across the led string) it does not blink. I use a 0.47uf ceramic cap, although depending upon the length of the string you might have to adjust this. It solves the problem.

By doing so do you still need to connect the drain to ground?
