I’m trying to find a replacement for this device from a light dimmer. I think it’s a triac, but the numbers on the front don’t match any search results, other than a similar request on this forum, so I’m hoping that someone can help!

T2535T-6IL. Probably can be replaced with T2535T-8I.

Hello @OrrinC

I think is going to be better to contact your local ST sales and marketing agent. I think he can help you.

Best regards.

I suspect it is not a consumer part, but a special order part by some manufacturer.

BTB-  is a non-insulated version!  That would not work (long!).  I’m going to try a BTA12-800CWRG. It looks very similar to the T2535T-8I except a lower current rating, but the dimmer is only rated at 600W, so it should be fine …. Unless I’m missing something …
