In the HV (J1) connector of the EVALSTDRIVE601 , how much power should be connected

I am using the EVALSTDRIVE601 inverter board for the motor controlling application firmware development

I need your input on power supply required for the EVALSTDRIVE601 board 

on the EVALSTDRIVE601 board, a J1 (HV) connector is provided to drive the load , here Should I connect the DC supply or AC supply .
