Inquiry Regarding L9961 Datasheet

Hello,

I checked the L9961 datasheet for information on the cell voltage protection function, but couldn't find the operating voltage.

 

Other products usually provide Over Voltage Protection (OVP) for cells, but in the case of L9961, only the cell measurement range is mentioned.

 

Could you clarify if voltage limitation needs to be set solely through I2C communication between the BMS IC and MCU chips?

Hello,

There is no default value for OV protection. This should be configured via I2C as described in section 3.4.1 of the datasheet and in the register map attached to the datasheet.
