Isolation between NC pin and Cathode on STPSC20H12-Y

We have an application using an STPSC20H12-Y silicon carbide power Schottky diode in the D²PAK HV package (full MPN STPSC20H12G2Y-TR).  This diode has a No Connect pin that we would like to tie to the Anode pin to simplify board layout and improve thermal performance.  Will this connection degrade the 1200V rating between the Cathode and Anode?  Thank you!
