The A7987 is functionally identical to the L7987. However, it is more expensive because of the automotive approval, so I did not consider it. If you accept the higher price, you can of course also use the A7987.

The L7987 (3A) and L7987L (2A) can be used up to 61V input voltage and unfortunately do not have an alternative type.

    HI Peter,

could you please advise that how to select the resistors for the voltage setting,

are the resistor volume same for L7987, L7987L and A7987 voltage setting.

    thanks.

    for example: output 5V,

    60.4K and 11K,=5.19V

    43K and 8.2K =4.99V
    6.04K and 1.1K=5.19V
    3K and 0.56K=5.08V

which one is more suitable. any difference
