Question

LDO LD39015M12R - Can it be operated with Vin=1.8V & Vout=1.2V for Load of 50mA

Im planning to use the LDO LD39015M12R with 1.8V Vin, VOut=1.2V 5mA load current. the drop out voltage is 80mV but the datasheet shows the condition of Vin= Vout+1v in the  electrical characteristics table.

My case will not meet this Vin=Vout+1V condition, will it be a problem or the LDO will work as the drop out voltage is met.

Please share your though as soon as possible team.

LDO will functioning as a regulator with slightly lower specification for: PSRR, line regulation , load regulation.

Dropout is 100mV max, so it will work.
