Question

Low Input Voltage to AEK-POW-BMS63EN

Hello,

The AEK-POWBMS63EN is a Battery Management System. I am not sure if I can connect to a voltage lower than 48V, if yes, would it work optimally? What issues I might come into?

Please kindly advise

The description is a little misleading, the 48V refers to a single block consisting of up to 14 Li-Ion cells, which have a maximum total of 48V. You can of course also charge one single cell.

Hope that answers your question?

Thanks Peter for responding!

So what does the 800V mean?

800V means many blocks (nodes) in series, each one with a dedicated L9963 able to handle 4…14 Li-Ion cells.
