Reg: Cooling type clarification for part STPS10200SF

Hi All,

As mentioned in the datasheet for part the part STPS10200SF, it was stated that cooling will be conduction cooled.

Please clarify that the cooling method will be either top cooled or bottom cooled.

Conduction cooling refers to cooling by heat conduction through the bottom slug, i.e. usually by thermal vias to the opposite side of the board, where there should be sufficient cooling area.

You can also cool on the top side, but this is much more complex due to the considerably greater thermal resistance.
