STSPIN840 OUTX1 and OUTX2 signals

Hi,

We have PCB where STSPIN840 is connected to PIC32MK1024MCF100 and DC motors connected to respective OUTX pins. Getting PWM,PH(high),EN(high) when we are checking signals in CRO but OUTX1,OUTX2 both as 3.3v or one 3.3v another 12v sometimes. According to datasheet one should be grounded and another should be VS(12V) depending on direction we are setting. What possibly could go wrong in our configurations that we are not able to drive motor
