VNF1048F Reverse current behavior

Hello,

I am planning to use the VNF1048F as a eFuse for my current project.

From the datasheet it is not clear to me which is the behavior of the VNF1048F in case of reverse current.

Does it automatically close the MOSFETs (to avoid diode conduction), does it open the MOSFETs (letting the diode conduct) or is the gate status controllable as in forward current condition?

Hello,

From the first tests on the demo board it appears that the VNF1048F can not close the external MOSFET in case of reverse current, which is conducted only through the body diode.

Can you confirm the behavior?
