ST25R200 - (VDD_A to GND_A) capacitors

Hello.

For example, on the datasheet of ST25R200, on page 10, it shows 2 capacitors between pins VDD_A and GND_A, but on page 13 it is not shown the recommended values of these 2 capacitors.

Would they be 2.2uF and 10nF, or 1uF and 10nF, for example?

I'm talking about pin 14 in this case.

Hello,

the recommended capacitor combination is 2.2uF // 10nF for the VDD_A pin.

This is probably just an omission in the datasheet.

The STEVAL-25R200SA discovery kit has 2.2 uF // 10 nF. I would do that.

Hi Jeferson,

Recommendations for integrating the ST25R200 into a new design can be found in a dedicated Application Note: AN5984 - Layout recommendations for the design of boards with the ST25R200 device.
Chapter 3 in particular, details certain considerations to be taken including the decoupling capacitors.

As TDK highlighted, also ST's Reference Board Design can be used as examples.
