ST25R3917B technical support : Apple ECP guide

Dear All,

Now I know that the ic ST25R3917B support Apple ECP.

Here are my new questions:

1. Can i get some guide files of Apple ECP for developing terminal product based on ST25R3917B?

2. Should I gat Apple's authorization before sending authorization request to ST?

※Already applied for Apple's authorization, but I think it will take a while time.

3. I know that it needs some authorization procedures. If I am missing any procedure or information, please let me know thanks.

Hi Ken,

yes the reader chips of ST25R family are supporting Apple's ECP protocol. Due to confidentiality required by Apple you need to go through the official channels (Apple MFi and ST Sales).

Does ST25R3911B also support Apple ECP? Of course I know that I have to contact with Apple MFi to certificate it and get more details, but I just want to be sure this has support cause that PDF:

same as above ECP is supported for ST25R readers. This includes all devices from ST25R3911(B) to ST25R3920(B).
