Nucleo h755 USB power

Hi im having nucleo h755 board with me, in that usb port section i can't understand, if i connect through usb cable, the board will power it or not. i tried, it not powering the board.

And how the circuit will work when fault occurs. and it is possible to power the board when connected to usb cable

please find the atttached image of nucleo h755 usb port schematics.

Please find the User manual of this board. It has a section about power. Maybe some jumper is missing. These boards have several options for USB power.

The board has two USB connectors - which one are you using?

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

hi @Andrew Neil i using an usb communication connector and not an  stlink usb connector.

i want to know how the circuit is working and we can power the board with that connector or  not

The board can't be powered from the user USB connector.
