Board Manager Phase Voltage Generation difference

I am currently going through the documentation of the Board Manager.

What was not clear to me is the difference between the Phase Voltage Generation settings DrivingHighAndLowSides and PoweringHighAndLowSides.

It does not help that the latter doesn't have an example circuit shown like the others.

Thanks for your question. PoweringHighAndLowSides is dedicated to STSPIN32 MCU where the driver is embedded inside the chip. On the opposite, DrivingHighAndLowSides aims to connect Timer PWM signals to an external driver.
