Can I use any kind of ESCs to drive motors interfacing with STEVAL-FCU001V1

Hi,

I want to use STEVAL-FCU001V1 Board as Flight controller unit MCU, I want to drive BLDC motors; for that purpose, want to connect a different ESC to Drive motors than STEVAL-ESC001V1 board. Is STEVAL-FCU001V1 Board is compatible to drive other ESCs?

Because we have selected a motor, and it has an ESC suggested for motor. We want to use the same. So Shall I connect PWM signal from STEVAL-FCU001V1 to External ESC?
