Dissipative Brake option

I have checked the dissipative brake option after generated codes, I couldn't find any different with without option checked ?

What's this option for ?

Hi Laurent,

SW : MotorControl Workbench 5.Y.3

SW : Motor Profiler 5.Y.3

HW : B-G431B-ESC1

When I compare both option (dissipative brake or not) generated from CubeMX I don't see any major different, so my question is the different with this option ?
