Question

Encoder and MC Workbench

I want to drive the DJI2312 motor through the profiler and connect it to the STM32 B-G431B-ESC1 inverter.

Using MC Workbench to initialize the project (and Motor Pilot) the sensorless case works correctly, but when I use a quadrature encoder (fixed with screws behind the motor) the rotor does not rotate ... you can hear a noise as if it is trying to align but it does not move. There are no faults in the Motor Pilot.

I don't have the datasheet of the encoder because I got it a while ago, but I tried changing "Pulses for mechanical revolution" by setting 1, then 2,3 and 4 but it still doesn't work.

Should I set something here?

    Hello @luke514,

Generating a project with main sensor set to sensor less algo and auxiliary set to Encoder, you can run the motor. Plotting STOPLL_EL_ANGLE for example and ENCODER_EL_ANGLE, tunning your motor Encoder parameter both signals should be aligned.
