Question

Is it possible to create an MCSDK project with the STM32H743 chip?

Hi,

I wonder if it is possible to create a project with the H743 chips. In the release notes it says the software supports the STM32H7xx family, but only partially supported with examples with H745ZI. Does it mean that it supports the H745 exclusively, or can it be adapted to the H743. If so, is it worth trying or would it be easier to build the motor control from scratch, if I need to use the H743? I need the FOC part to be included.

Thanks.

Hello RBrec.1,

First of all, we would like to sincerely apologize for the delay in replying to your post.

If your point is still pertinent, the only MCU currently supported by the MCSDK is the H745 and no other one. You can see it in the MC_SDK_6.1.2\Utilities\PC_Software\STMCWB\assets\hardware\mcu folder, where all supported MCU are listed. Thus, the only supported board providing the H745 is the NUCLEO-H745ZI.
