Dear,

I am trying to profile two different motors using ST Motor Profiler 5.4.8 but it fails on both motors.

Setup:

Control Board: Nucleo-L476G
Power Board: X-Nucleo-IHM08M1 3Sh

Configuration:

Completed the configuration using this link:

Control Board:
Removed JP1, plugged JP5 as shown & LD3 turned ON.
Plugged in two jumpers on CN2.
Soldered bridges SB55 OFF, SB16 & SB50 ON.

Power Board:
Soldered jumpers J5 & J6 for 3Sh as shown.
Removed R181.
Plugged JP1 & JP2 as shown.

Power Supply:

Supplies 12V at max 40A as shown below.

Motors:

1) BLDC A2212

Profile Settings tried so far:

No. Poles 14 (Pairs: 7)

2) BLDC

there are total of 6 windings. So this makes 3 Pole Pairs?

Results:

I tried using different max current, poles etc. But, the motor clicks and sometime runs momentarily but profiling always fails. Is there any specific sequence of phases to be used?

Please help in completing this profiling step.

Thanks

    Thanks for your response.

I will download and check with the latest version.

What about the other motor, should I check and obtain parameters manually? Then use those in MCSDK?
