STEVAL-PTOOL2V1

I am trying to work with the STEVAL Ptool2v1 BLDC controller, but have had no success in getting it to work. I have downloaded the STSW-PTOOL2V1 software and unbundled it to a hierarchal dir system, which leads to a project dir, where there is a project  File "EVALSTSPIN32F0H25-HallSensors". I dont understand this sudden change of hardware especially since the circuit diagram of the PTOOL2V1 is very different from the ST MX diagram of the yP of the project directory. This doesnt seem right, this PTOOL board is so badly documented.

    Dear DDoug.2,

For documentation, did you check the latest User Manual available (UM2772 and UM2788) below?
    https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/steval-ptool2v1.html#documentation
As mentioned in STEVAL Ptool2v1 product overview, the board is based on STSPIN32F0252 and the available firmware uses "Motor positioning reconstruction through Hall sensors reading and decoding".
