Issues with editing and exporting video content for embedded STM32 displays

I’ve been experimenting with some mobile video editors to prepare short demo clips for STM32-based display projects. The problem I’m running into is that the exported files sometimes don’t maintain the resolution or format I need, which causes playback issues on the embedded screens.

I noticed similar behavior when testing edits on a tool like the capcut android version. I’m wondering if this is common with mobile editors or if there are better workflows for converting and compressing videos specifically for microcontroller displays.

Has anyone in the community run into these kinds of challenges when preparing media for embedded projects? I’d love to hear how you handle exporting content while keeping compatibility and quality intact.
