rev_id = 0x200f?

Hello,

0x200F = Revision V (like indicated on the package)

Nothing prevents to get an old revision from an offcial distributor. That depends on their stock.

These are new chips, datecode 507 means 7th week of 2025.

While it might theoretically be 2015, the 2D code ("QR code") is a recent development so it's not 2015.

V revision does not mean it's an old revision. It denotes the maskset, and there are several "current" masksets, as the chips are manufactured in several fabs.

Excluding the oldest revision (Z or X?), all revisions have the same behaviour, see datasheet and errata.

I am not ST.
