stm32L051c8 failed to erase memory

Tried to erase , recently i keep getting this error , 

when attempting to erase through IDE even though not successful , after several tries it programs.

Ok, but no one here is familiar with the specifics of your board design. Provide MORE contextual detail.

How do you have this wired to the ST-LINK, is NRST connected?

Any watchdog on the board, that might break the connection?

Does pulling BOOT0 HIGH help with making a connection?

Issues with Power on the board, a brown-out might cause the chip to reset / stop responding.

J3 is where i am having trouble, as mentioned it deosnt happen always.

the option bytes shows the read protection/write protection has not been enabled.
