Hello,I am attempting to make an external loader for a QuadSPI flash S25FL256SAGMFI000 using the STM32F769 and STM32CubeIDE.I followed this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLnMKNibPkDnHIrq5BICcFhLsmJFI_ytvEI was able to run the code to the end of the while loop like described in the video and successfully wrote/read to memory at address 0x90000000.I am able to generate an stldr file, but when I try to load it in the CubeProgrammer the file displays the error "ERROR PARSING FAIL". The programmer also does not display the right start address, the memory size, page size, or type, which leads me to believe there is a problem with the Dev_Inf.c file.

I have a code that toggles only four LEDs on the STM32F407G-DISC. I want to generate a HEX file for this code and then make changes to the addresses using a linker file. After modifying the linker file, I want to see these changes reflected in the HEX file. Additionally, I plan to add three uint32_t variables with known addresses to my LED toggle code and locate their addresses in the HEX file. However, I have no knowledge about HEX and linker files. How can I achieve this?

Hello,We are using the STM32U5 microcontroller and we want to utilize Stop Mode 2. Can the SysTick timer work in this mode, and can we use the SysTick interrupt to wake up from Stop Mode 2 ?Thanks!

I am using STM32H753.My TIM2 is in Encoder mode, and I give two external signals from my incremental encoder to TIM2_CH1 and TIM2_CH2. My TIM2 is counts perfectly (Up or Down) when I move the encoder clockwise or anticlockwise.Now i want to syncronize another two timer TIM1 and TIM8 (or any other ) with TIM2. so that when i move encoder Clockwise or Anticlockwise then conunts of all three timers are increase or decrease togather. Is it possible ? How ?  As per Reference Manual Chepter of Timer synchronization, I can connect TRGO internally (For Update Event) to another Timer but will it be work in Encoder mode ? I mean how single line (TRGO) can send increment or decrement data to another timer ? 

 We are currently working on a project with the STM32U5 series running FreeRTOS and need to integrate the USB Mass Storage (MSC) class for adding pendrive / thumbdrive support. While exploring solutions, we noticed that CubeIDE doesn't directly support USB class configuration for USB host, and AzureRTOS's USBX seems to be the default recommendation. However, switching to AzureRTOS is not feasible for our project since FreeRTOS is deeply integrated into our system.So we’d like to know:* Can you please provide USB MSC stack for freertos as well for stm32U5 ?* If not, do you recommend any third party USB stack for this purpose?* Do you recommend the integration of TinyUSB open source stack ?

I'm looking to program multiple STM32H723 chips on the same board through the same programming interface. I'm currently using SWD. I see in the documentation that multidrop is supported but I don't see any information about how to program the instance ID to be different across the different chips on the board. Is this possible? Or did ST also hardcode the instance ID to all 0s? If not possible with the H7 series, do you have any series that support changing the instance ID? Thank you 

 I'm trying to port Adafruit's RA8875 Arduino library to work with an STM32F4 Discovery board. The SPI communication is failing during device initialization. During initialization, when reading the device ID register (0x0), I expect to read 0x75 but always get 0xFF. The SPI DR register gets set to 0xFF on the first transfer and never changes. 1. Is my SPI configuration correct for the RA8875 (Mode 3, ~1.3MHz)?2. Could the issue be with my SPI transfer implementation?3. Hello all, My aim is to utilize the User Push button (configured as an EXTI gpio) on Nucelo-F411RE board along with a software reset  to enter the System Bootloader located @0x1FFF0000 (ref: AN2606). With the software reset implementation, I face the bellow issues:A.) The SFTRSTF flag is always set by the hardware while the user application is running. Shouldn't this flag be set only when the software reset line is executed? This should only occur when the User Push button is pressed. B.) Because the SFTRSTF flag is set, the program always enters the check flag function (See Step 2.) and tries executing the bootloader code without even reaching the user application code (See Step 4.). The program always remains in this function an keeps on continuously executing the bootloader function and never goes to the user application. C.) Hello,I am using STM32G491 FDCAN modules 1 and 2 in bare metal. While everything works perfectly on CAN2 the interrupt on CAN1 is constantly disabled. And I do not mean the flags but the actual interrupt does not fire. Each time the interrupt for CAN2 fires, the interrupt from CAN1 is disabled. When I read out the register NVIC->ISER[0] after initialization then I can see bits 6 (EXTI0) and 21 (FDCAN1_IT0) are set. Once FDCAN2 interrupt fires these two bits are reset to 0. I need to enable them again in the ISR of CAN2. How can this happen? How can the interrupt simply be disabled by a different interrupt?

Hello,now I will record 32 GPIO's via DMA for the analyse. The DMA itself shall triggered with a timer.So first I have found different information to solve this. So I have tested some solution, but on the STM32F756 will it not run.My solution is: GPIOD and GPIOE tranfer with two DMA streams to an public array. After the DMA transmition complete I will start the ISR to switch the buffer.At the moment, the DMA transfer is not started. Hello,Any access to the calibration memory addresses of the analogue temperature sensor or the internal reference causes a hard fault if ICACHE is enabled.Here is an example:ui16Temp = __HAL_ADC_CALC_VREFANALOG_VOLTAGE(0x0BF0, ADC_RESOLUTION_12B); MX_ICACHE_Init (); ui16Temp = __HAL_ADC_CALC_VREFANALOG_VOLTAGE(0x0BF0, ADC_RESOLUTION_12B);Stepping in the debugger, we can see that the first operation gives the expected result. After enabling the ICACHE, we end up in a hard fault.I pass the fixed value 0x0BF0 just for testing purposes to skip all the ADC related stuff.My workaround is to store the calibration values in a global variable before enabling the ICACHE and use the variable instead of the memory addresses. Is there any other solution to this?Took me a few days to figure this out. Hope it helps someone.

I'm struggling with how to use the timers to achieve certain behavior and am looking for some advice. First I'll describe the purpose, then how I tried to approach it, and then why I'm stuck.I need a 32-bit timebase that counts up at exactly 48kHz and always runs, rolling over from 0xffffffff back to 0. This timebase is used to precisely "schedule" the start of DAC and/or ADC conversions at some future counter value. For example, if the current counter value is 12345, I might want to start DAC conversion at counter value 20000. Optionally, I might also want to start ADC conversion at counter value 20100.  The DAC and ADC are scheduled independently but may overlap. Once triggered, the DAC/ADC channels should continue running until disabled by software. The SMPS in STM32H745IIK can optionally supply a fixed 1.8V to the internal LDO and potentially some external circuitry. In my case, I have a board with a 3.3V supply, and I want to utilize the built-in SMPS to provide a 1.8V supply and 1.8V IO levels for the STM32 MCU and a few sensors. However, based on my understanding of the documentation, it seems that supplying VDD (and consequently IO) of the STM32 with 1.8V directly from the internal SMPS is not feasible. This is because VDD must already be supplied to configure the SMPS during startup. Is my conclusion correct?

Hi,I encountered a problem when using a USB as a power source. I am using the STM32G474RE with the X-NUCLEO-DRP1M1. The issue is that the current consumed by the sink is very low (around 200mA). I set a fixed PDO with 1500mA and 5V, and I can see in the message in STM32CubeMonitor-UCPD that the sink chooses the PDO and the source accepts it (attached is a picture of the trace). However, I have no idea why the current is so low. The source CN3 is connected to a power supply that provides 5V and can supply up to 3A. The blue LED (D7) that indicates power from the source is turned on.Thanks for the help.
