STM32 MCUs Products

Hi,in the MCU selector app, in the Example selector, there is a long list of examples, all using acronyms (see screenshot below). Some are obvious like "ETH" but most are not.Some questions:1) Where can I find a table/list that explains what each of the acronyms mean?2) Where can I find the actual code for each?3) which one is USB bootloader and SDMMC bootloader?4) which one is USB mass storage device? Thank you :) 

I am using stm32h745zit3, with the flash is IS34_35ML04G081. I have initialize the below parameter but after writing in to the flash and reading the data but some bytes are corrupted. Hi, I want to send a simple message through UART and check if message is properly received at Rx end. I want to do loopback test. I connect PD5 to PD6, namely short circuit. Then I run the below code. When I debug the code, I can see only the first byte is received. I tried many ways to fix it but cant find out the root cause, eventually cant resolve the issue.I am looking forward to hearing some help. I am using the STM32H743ZIT6 MCU to enable USB CDC. In my schematic, I have not defined the VBUS pin; I have only defined the CDC lines. Can I still use CDC without the VBUS pin? Below is the photo of my schematic for reference. Please help me.Thank you for your assistance.

I’m currently debugging an H563 NMI issue. When I executememcpy((uint8_t*)record, (uint8_t*)latest_record_addr, 128), the program jumps to the NMI_Handler().I have already confirmed using the debugger that record = 0x20002608 and latest_record_addr = 0x81ED000, and both are valid addresses. After execution, I observed that the first 16 bytes were correctly copied to the corresponding address, but for unknown reasons, the program jumps to NMI_Handler().I set a breakpoint in the assembly code of memcpy() and found that the program jumps to NMI_Handler() after executing the cmp r1, r2 instruction. I also confirmed that r1 = 0x81ED011 and r2 = 0x81ED080, both of which are valid addresses. 

Hi,Can all selected channel's sampling in each SAR ADC(0, 1, 2) be trigged by the same timer with the same settings so that their sample can be synchronized ?Thanks

Hi all I am using STM32F407 and trying to configure both CAN1 AND CAN2 so I want to understand a concept hope you people can help me. CAN1(MASTER) and CAN2(SLAVE) . I want to achieve operation to send data from one can to another and vice versa.  NOTE: In my STM32F407 reference manual FILTER register is only configurable for CAN1 not for CAN2. I have few doubts one by one I will mention. 1. for CAN1's filter configuration what should be the value for slave filterbank I should select. 2.If CAN2 doesn't have filter configuration so how it will receive the data(will it receive every ID because we cant configure filters). Hi,i created a project to connect the STM32F407VGTX by USB High Speed to a PC. It is enumerated as a Camera in the device manager. When start the windows camera app or VLC the videostream (Format MJPEG 400x240 pixel) starts. I use two picture toggeling. I can close and open the camera app without any problem when DMA is disabled (usb_otg.c):hpcd_USB_OTG_HS.Init.dma_enable = DISABLE; Problem:When I enable the DMA:hpcd_USB_OTG_HS.Init.dma_enable = ENABLE; It works only the first time. I am working with stm32h750xb.  i want to mount and write data at different time interval i am using fatfs and SDMMC   If i mount it in main and try to write in loop it is not working it showing error             so i did both in loop i was able to write and read. but i can do it only once , if i unmount and try to mount again its showing error  So i want to know how to remount after unmounting  and also why i am not able to write if i mount in main and write in loop

HelloController - STM32H745We are using an external QSPI to store the application image. Currently we are flashing the image using JTAG and .stldr file as an argument to cmd ln utility STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe When I pull the boot0 pin HIGH I am able to load the internal flash. Is there a possibility to flash the external QSPI using USB-DFU method?I tried this cmd but it didn't work and help section of the STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe is not clear about this topicSTM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=USB1 pid=0xDF11 vid=0x0483 -w "%FW_FILE_PATH%App-CM7.hex" -v -el "%FW_FILE_PATH%qspiflashLoader-CM7.stldr" 

Hi, I am a newbie with STM32. I need help.I want to configure that PA15 pin (which by default is used as JTDI), as a GPIO output.I've added the following two lines to the beginning of the generated code of MX_GPIO_Init():LL_GPIO_SetAFPin_8_15(GPIOA,LL_GPIO_PIN_15,LL_GPIO_AF_5);LL_GPIO_SetPinMode(GPIOA,LL_GPIO_PIN_15,LL_GPIO_MODE_OUTPUT);But it does not work. I connected a LED and tried to change the state of the pin high and low,but it did not work.I appreciate if someone help me to figure out what I am missing.Thanks

Hello. I have a cap touch with an ili2511 touch controller board on it. I need to drive it with stm32 IIC but I can not find anything to help me. I need help with writing or finding its driver. please help me I am so confused. I'm using an STM32L4A6 on a custom-designed board.  I'm using STM32CubeIDE 1.16.0 and CubeMX to generate my project.  I'm running into an issue where intermittently (let's say every few days, but it seems random), my board will not bootup for a number of attempts (~5 but random, could be 1 could be 20).  When using the debugger, I can see that it got stuck in the Error_Handler() within the SystemClock_Config function which was generated by CubeMX.  Most of the time this works fine, but intermittently it gets caught in this error handler and I'm not sure how to narrow down further to the root cause of the problem.More specifically:It's getting caught during the HAL_RCC_OscConfig() call which is returning a HAL_TIMEOUTStepping through HAL_RCC_OscConfig, I see it's stuck in this loop until it times out: /* Check the LSE State */ if(RCC_OscInitStruct->LSEState != RCC_LSE_OFF) {

SPI communication by DMA and SPI communication by BDMAWe would like to confirm the difference between SPI communication by DMA and SPI communication by BDMA.for some reason, the MISO data output (slave output) is delayed by 2 to 3 CLK in SPI communication using BDMA.The program processing is the same, but it is not delayed by DMA, only when using BDMA.Do you know the reason for this?

Hi all,I have the CPU STM32F103 on board. I am using STM32CubeIDE for SW development and STM32CubeProgrammer for burning.On some point during development, I couldn't burn the CPU anymore - I get various types of error messages, like 'Can't erase the memory', 'Core is halted' or the green bar (which indicates burning process) runs goes and back endlessly.Yet sometimes I succeeded to bun it by using tricks, such setting port BOOT0 to VCC and using option  OB --> Readout Protection to erase the memory and only then to program. Or alternatively pressing the on-board reset button and starting the programming immediately after releasing the button.Unfortunately these trick are not always working, and off course are not acceptable as solution.I wonder what happened to my design. Is there any solution?Any help will be very appreciated.  

HelloI am using STM32F103C8T6 microcontroller in my project and internal RTC is used with external 32.768Khz oscillator and CR2032 battery is connected to VBAT pin for RTC backup. RTC is working fine.In my application I am running timer which increments at every one second and I have to store timer value in case of power failure. I do not want to store at every one second so I tried to store timer value using PVD in flash and tried to store in EEPROM also.When CR2032 battery for RTC is inserted PVD is not working. I am able to store using PVD when RTC battery is not inserted.Can anyone let me know if Is there any settings for PVD when VBAT pin is connected CR2032 battery? Thanks

Posted on May 24, 2018 at 13:11Hi,I'm using the NUCLEO-H743ZI board with the STM32H743 MCU.I'm using the HAL SPI1 module to transmit a buffer of 4 words (16 bits) and receive the corresponding 4 words into another buffer.The component the MCU is communicating with (an A2D component), requires a certain delay between the active SS edge and the clock toggle beginning. Reading the reference manual, I noticed the MSSI parameter that's supposed to control this. When I set the parameter for 15 SPI clock cycles, it does create a delay, but only before the first word transaction and not the following 3 (image attached - SPI clock in yellow, SS in green).Did anyone encounter this?Thanks,Yoav#stm32h7-spi

Hi;I have a tlv493d magnetic encoder, with which I would like to communicate via i2c with an stm32f4 MCU. I can successfully initiate communication with this sensor via I2c, to perform an initial configuration of the sensor. I can verify this by way of an oscilloscope and a logic analyzer - my initial read/write transactions all seem fine.One of the properties of the tlv493d is that - once it's been initialized - it indicates that it has data ready to be read by periodically pulling the SCL line low. Hello STM32 Community,I am using the STM32F407G-DISC1 development board and have successfully implemented an RTC alarm that triggers every minute. The RTC is configured to use the LSI (Low-Speed Internal) clock signal.My goal is to have the microcontroller enter sleep mode and wake up after 3 minutes using the RTC wake-up feature. However, when the MCU enters sleep mode, it wakes up prematurely, within only 2 seconds, instead of the expected 3-minute wake-up period.I would appreciate any assistance or insights into resolving this issue. Has anyone encountered a similar problem when using the LSI clock for RTC wake-up, or can you suggest any potential causes for this behavior?Thank you in advance for your help!

We are developing software that uses GPIO interrupts.We would like to test if the GPIO interrupt handler is working properly, but is it possible to set the pin assigned to the GPIO interrupt High/Low in software?Is this only possible by inputting a signal to the target GPIO from outside?
