Hi all, The goal is to read an external Flash memory connected to XSPI in Single-Mode. In the future, I will configure as memory-mapped, to see it as an extension memory of the MCU. I have already set up the XSPI peripherals with hdmarx and hdmatx channel configured correctly. Now I have a problem when trying to read more than 32 bytes in a cycle. The DMA peripheral is aligned to 4 bytes wide.I have seen that HAL_XSPI_FLAG_TE is set, then HAL_XSPI_ErrorCallback() is triggered.Just to be sure, I read this in the reference manual. It seems to be used only when XSPI FIFO is used to transfer data... but in my case I am using DMA transfer.

Hello!I am having weird behaviour on my STM32G071 MCU.I set up the ADC to measure in sequence and I want to get an interrupt when the sequence has finished. The ADC is set up with DMA and I am starting conversions manuallty within my loop that runs once a second.In the interrupt handler I check for EOS and EOC. When I enable the EOS and EOC I get thousands of EOS interrupts in a second and no EOC interrupts.When I enable the EOC and disable the EOS I get an EOS interrupt for every channel that I have in the sequencer, but no EOC interrupts. It seems like all the channels are measured during the interrupt, but I shouldn't even have these EOS interrupts. Although this kinda works for my application, this still isn't normal.When I check the regs, the EOCIE is 1 and EOSIE is 0. I also added the reg data as a file. There you can see that the EOS flag is set, but the EOC is not, while EOCIE is set, but EOSIE is not.My IRQHandler looks like this:

Hi, I would like to determine the maximum baud rate for a USART peripheral in asynchronous mode. In the datasheet (Figure 1) the maximum baud rate is given as 8 MBit/s. But even if I set the clock for the USART peripheral (in this case USART1) to the maximum of 56 MHz (Figure 2), I'm not able to set 8 MBit/s for the baud rate. I'm able to set 7 MBit/s when I set the over-sampling to 8 samples (image3). I'm using the Nucleo-U083 board together with the STM32CubeIDE 1.16.1. I am using the Readout Protection Level 1 security method for the STM32G431 chip. However, after flashing the code, it doesn't work, and when I use the STM32Programmer software to check, I encounter an FF error like this. Can anyone help me with this issue?Thank  

Hi, We are using the STM32U5A9J-DK board and are trying to achieve Read-While-Write (RWW) functionality. The flash chip we are using supports RWW. Earlier, as per [this post](post link), we learned that to achieve RWW, we need two OSPI instances, namely OSPI1 and OSPI2. As the title suggests, the chip manual states that in dual ADC mode, ADC cannot be configured to simultaneously capture the same channel, but there is no explanation for independent mode. Is it feasible in independent mode? If not, what are the reasons behind it?

I use the arm chip stm32f401 to communicate with eeprom, and observe the waveforms of the clock and data lines. The rising and falling edges of the initial write and read waveforms are not square waves, but are slow and have some glitches. Later, when the read operation is repeated many times in while (1), the waveform gradually becomes better and becomes a square wave. Why?

I generated a sinusoidal signal through the DAC using DMA. I understand that DMA performs looping since I use circular mode. In short, I want to control the numbers generated by the DMA. So, when the signal changes to DC (the array contains only 2048 or hold_samples and hold_samples2), it will immediately be detected by my program using the function:  deteksisinyal(void)   However, I have NOT yet figured out how to control the numbers/results/shape of the generated signal in terms of code. I want to control the signal changes, namely from peak - flat - valley - flat. I will use the flat part for another function, specifically to detect changes in a device. Please, I need help from experts with examples or guidance on what I should do. I will include my code below. Please provide feedback or ask questions about my code.  

We are having trouble understanding the NRST pin characteristics.The STM32H742xI/G STM32H743xI/G datasheet gives these parameters:I have three questions:1. What does 'input filtered' and 'input not filtered' pulse mean?2. Is it by design true that a filtered reset trigger with a duration shorter than 50ns, will never be detected?3. We use a 3.3V Vdd. Does a not-filtered pulse require 300ns or 1000ns duration to detect a reset? 

Hello the comminity.I try to use a software interrupt with no secure and no privilege.when I set a bit in EXTI_SWIER1 And re-read the register, the value stay to 0.When the interrupt was fired, It's impossible to distinguish the software interrupt  from external input.On the F4 series the EXTI_SWIER1 contained the bit who call the interrupt.Is it another methode to do that ?Regards

Dear experts,I'm trying to receive continuously from a USART with interrupts.For some reason I don't want to use DMA (the Tilen Majerle's DMA example on github works well, though)So I'm enabling RX FIFO and Receive timeout (RTO) for receiving less than FIFO threshold.Then, loss of data occurs. Many sent bytes are not received in the ISR.Without RX FIFO threshold interrupt + RTO; only with RXNE interrupt; RX works well as expected.Does anybody have idea what is missing for RX FIFO threshold interrupt? Below are two variants : with only RXNE interrupt (working) and with RXFTIE + RTO interrupts (failing).Note that in both cases the FIFO mode is enabled, and any RX errors are ignored.I've tried to reproduce the logic from the HAL UART driver, HAL_UART_Receive_IT.Cannot use this function as is because need continuous RX (unlimited size) .// INIT void UART_init(UART_HandleTypeD

Hi I wrote an LCD program with the ST7789 driver using the STM32G0B0CET6 microcontroller under the SPI + DMA protocol, and the LCD worked perfectly. However, when I rewrote this program using the STM32H562RIT6 microcontroller with the same SPI + DMA protocol, the LCD did not initialize. What could be causing this issue? Could the GPDMA settings be incorrect? I have attached the codes in the document, including both the STM32G0 and the STM32H562 versions. Note that the backlight of the LCD is hardware-connected and does not need to be controlled by the microcontroller. However, the STM32H562 version is not working properly. Where could the issue be?    

AN2606 says it must be configured in USB FS configured in forced device mode.USB FS interrupt vector is enabled and used for USB DFU communications.   Is it also possible in USB_OTG_HS mode?

A signal is generated by a DAC DMA used on the STM32F405. Using a buffer containing an array [100]. As shown in the picture, the point (circle on the line) represents the point to be detected. This is only for detection, not to start and stop the signal.In short, I want to detect when the array [45] "starts ignition detection" and array [50] "stops ignition detection". However, I'm still trying to figure out how to detect it because the DMA will directly generate the signal without me knowing exactly where it forms the array [45].Do you have any suggestions or ideas on how to achieve this?

I am working on STM32L476RG mcu for duty cycle measurement of PWM signal. Do I need to use RK043FN8H-CT672B for STM32F756BGT6?

Hi, I would like to use system wake-up pin 1 (PA0) as an external interrupt to wake up my MCU from standby mode. Understand that a rising edge on PA0 (wake-up pin 1) should trigger the MCU to exit standby mode. However, I am encountering difficulties in waking up the MCU using this pin. The pin configuration is shown in the attached picture.Circuit: Supply high voltage to VIN (5V)to wakeup MCU.
