Hello,for the project I am developing I am using a STM32L433.We have connected a motor encoder signals to PA15 and PB3, that are CH1 and CH2 for timer1 TIM2 configured in encoder mode.We used CubeMX to configure the HW, and that worked perfectly for another encoder on other pins.We use a ST link HW interface for FW run/debug, using the SWD interface.I have a problem with the encoder in timer1 to count while the motor is spinning in some cases.Compiled both in release mode or debug mode and running it or debugging it the FW shows a random behavior with the timer1 often not counting the encoder signals. Behavior may change after a reset or a power on/off cycle.I have verified that in all cases the input signal is received correctly by periodically reading one of encoder signal status and driving a LED accordingly. Hello, I am working with the STM32H503 board and using the I3C TX FIFO in target mode for communication. However, I have encountered an issue where, when transmitting data, the FIFO is only sending 8 bytes in total. I would like to configure the TX FIFO to send up to 255 bytes instead of the default 8 bytes. Could anyone advise on the correct configuration or settings to achieve this? Specifically, I am interested in any register settings or FIFO-related parameters that need adjustment. Find attached my I3C configuration. Thank you for your help!

In the first page of AN4777, the RM0411 is listed as the reference document for STM32L4x6. There is no link to the document and i am unable to found it. Also in STM32L4x6 page, the reference manual is named RM0351 instead of RM0411.

Hello,I have connected the nucleo f756zg board with the qorvo dwm3000. I found the inc and src files for the dwm3000 but the drivers for the dwm3000 are available for the m33 and m4 families.Is it someone who used an M7-Cortex mcu and have the driver for the dwm3000? The datasheet for STM32H723VG (https://www.st.com/en/microcontrollers-microprocessors/stm32h723vg.html) states that the devices have 2 x 12 bit, 2-channel DACs. However, in STM32CubeMX I see only one DAC listed (device = STM32H723VGT6).

Hello,I have a question on how to optimally configure the RAM of the STM32F101RG.The controller has 1MByte Flash, 80KByte RAM. I need to use most RAM for Heapsize and I configured within Keil IDE under target options/ASM0xCD00 for Heap size and0x1000 for Stack size. Totally, the size is much smaller as 80 KByte. Hi, Please tell me about I2C timing configration. I use Nucleo-L552ZE-Q. I set up the I2C as shown in the picture following the reference manual(RM0438, Table 326). The fi2cclk is 48MHz.   But SCL cycle is very slow. How can I set the SCL cycle to 1000 kHz ? Best regards.    

Hi,I am trying to use a STM32G491KEU6 with FDCAN, but the communication is failing at line:if (HAL_FDCAN_AddMessageToTxFifoQ(&hfdcan1, &TxHeader, TxData) != HAL_OK) { ...I found out that this is a problem that receiver is not sending a ACK bit - cannot it be a software issue? I am using two STM32G491KEU6 with the same code mentioned bellow, while I am also using a TCAN3403DRBRQ1 transceiver on both boards.The boards seems ok, I can even see a transmittion on the line with oscilloscope, but there is probably no ACK.Thank you for any help

Hello, I am using the stm32G0B1RE MCU board to detect the GPIO interrupts, after every 140ms, but MCU is not responding to these interrupts fully, like I need to detect the 30 interrupts in 4 seconds, but MCU is detecting only 20 to 21 interrupts, but as I try to detect these interrupts in more time like 30 seconds to 6 seconds in between I am getting all the interrupts. but, after  this giving less time like 4 seconds or 5 seconds , frequency of detecting those interrupt just gets reduced.  i have also checked if I am getting all the signals on pin using CRO, it is able to detect the all the 30 signals, but MCU is not detecting those all signals. please, help I anybody has any idea what wrong is happening. Hi everyone. When configuring SDIO, STM32CubeIDE gives me the warning "partially disabled conflict with I2C1" even though the I2C and SDIO bus are on seperate pins. I2C1_SCL and I2C1_SDA overlaps with SDIO_D4 and SDIO_D5 respectively but I'm only using SDIO in 4 bit mode.A guess is that STM32's pin planning tool wants to make sure nobody designs SDIO that doesn't work in the mode they want that requires more pins? I can't seem to find any information about it in the documentation.When I run it, I get the error handler when calling MX_SDIO_SD_Init(). I was wondering if anybody knew a workaround? Thanks.

I am looking to use one STM32 MCU with differential ADC support but can't find a custom search method for differential ADCs. Is there a way to list STM32 MCUs with differential ADCs?Preferably M0 or M0+ cores but seems like M4 has it.

Hello,I want to execute code located in external 16bit NOR FLASH e.g. on a STM32H7x3 evaluation board.I can run the NOR FLASH demo (erase, write, read flash) successfully but have no clue how to create and flash code.After googling 2 days I found plenty of examples for xSPI but none seems to suit this kind of flash type.Can somebody point me into the right direction e.g. how to configure the linker script and flash the code using the debugger or Cube Programmer. Hello, As part of a board re-design due to obsolescence,I need to find a replacement for the existing microprocessor and my choice is the STM32F429. Because of its 32-bit flexible memory controller (FMC). I wanted to know if there is a document specifying which memory references are compatible with the STM32F429 memory controller. If not, I wanted to know whether the following reference might be compatible with the FMC : CY7C1041G30-10ZSXI My question concerns SRAM memory read/write times. This is for boot in RAM mode for STM32F10x Connectivity line Devices. */earlier in the startup, BootRAM gets defined like:.equ  BootRAM, 0xF1E0F85FThe exact address depends on the particular device (low/medium/high/xl density, connectivity, value line, etc.), but all of them have a BootRAM entry in the startup script, and all are the last entry.I grepped the whole directory tree, and the only place ''BootRAM'' shows up is in the startup scripts.  I can't find any documentation on it at all, and the exception tables in the documentation of each chip don't go as high as this particular exception is located in the vector table, so I'm confused why it is even there.  The memo

Hello everyone,I am currently working on a project using the STM32U5G9ZJT6Q mcu with USB UVC. For my setup, I am providing: 32 MHZ external clock to phy 144 MHZ system clock In the documentation(TRM and CubeMX), the maximum external phy clock specified is 32 MHZ.However I need to achieve a 60 MHZ PHY Clock, which seems to be supported by the hardware but isn't explicitly listed in CubeMX or the reference manual.My questions are: Is it possible to configure the external PHY Clock to run at 60 MHZ? If so, does anyone have an example configuration or code snippet to achieve this?Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!Thank you in advance.

When runnung the ADC in continuous mode, does the ADC clear the sampling cap after each read? Or does the ADC go into it's next read with the sampling cap still charged up to whatever the previous level was. Thus, potentially putting some slight amount of voltage out into the circuit if the circuits voltage happened to be lower?

Hi, STM32F405 Microcontroller(Package: LQFP64) does not have Vref pins, Can we select any alternate pins as Vref pins. Please Suggest.  

I'd like to use both external RAM and flash at the same time for an STM32H7 application. I'd like to get a better idea of what options are available for this. For example, 256Mbyte flash in memory mapped mode for execute in place and 4gb of SRAM indirect mode for read/write. Would this require two quadSPI or octoSPI ports? Or can it be done with just one port? I see in AN5050 that octoSPI supports multiplexed modes. Thank you.  

Hello,STM32CubedIDE, STM407G DISC1 BOARD     I am trying to trigger an external interrupt by using a button connected to PA1 pin. My configurations are below;  1-) I enabled 7.bit in NVIC_ISER register.   IRQN_EXTI0 is enabled  2-) I enabled  GPIOAEN  in RCC register.    GPIOA  clock is enabled.  3-)  I wrote  '1' into the  TR1 in EXTI> RTRS register for RISING EDGE.   4-)  I enabled SYSCFG clock.  5-)  Although the reset value is already '0'(which is corresponding to A Port)          for  SYSCFG_EXTICR1> EXTI1, I wrote '0' again for Port A and pin 1(EXTI1)   6-) I set EXTI>IMR> MR1 bit in the register for not masking the line 1( due to being 1.pin )   7-) Other pin configurations are, Pull-Down, High-Speed and

Hi folks.Trying to put some debug info on MCU startup using SWO. I'm using pure CMSIS with 'STM32CubeF4 CMSIS Device MCU Component' and Arm GNU toolchain. I want to print some device info including ROM and RAM size.ROM size was easily obtained from stm32f411xe.h as difference between FLASH_END and FLASH_BASE.But RAM seems to be a different thing. While SRAM1_BASE is defined in the mentioned header file, the SRAM_END is somehow missing.I was poking around searching for other way to get the SRAM END address and came across the linker file heaving _estack calculated as SRAM origin + length where both defined in linker file:_estack = ORIGIN(RAM) + LENGTH(RAM); /* end of "RAM" Ram type memory */ MEMORY { FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x8000000, LENGTH = 512K RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 128K }Since origin is also defined in stm32f411xe.h as SRAM_BASE, I can easily calculated the desired RAM

Hello everyone,I have an stm32f303cbt6 design (see image below) connected to an hub(USB2533) and an adum for isolation, i'm trying to run a USB device CDC example by creating a new project in the Stm32CubeIDE using device tool configuration. I selected :- RTC : HSE Bypass clock source (24Mhz)- SYS : Serial wire debug - USB : fs device- Middleware : USB device CDC When i build and i compil to my board, windows doesn't recognise it, can you help me with that ?(i tried also to put the connect_usb pin to 3.3 V, i got same thing) Thanks.
