I downloaded X CUBE 53l1a1. but unable to open the project since i am currently using a new version of cube mx. can somebody guide to me as to how to get started with new software probaly how to build a new project using the old x cube files. i am new to this .Thank u

Hello,I would like to generate a 10us wide single pulse using the hardware Timer 1 peripheral that can be triggered by software. Currently, I am setting a pin as GPIO output and manually setting the pin high and low. I was wondering if there was an option with hardware timers. There is a rare issue where the DMA operation occasionally stops during the burst transfer of data from external SDRAM to eMMC via DMA. I’m having difficulty identifying the exact cause, so I’m posting here to see if anyone has any good ideas.The hardware details are as follows:The MCU being used is the STM32F469NI.SDRAM is accessed via the FMC bus. I am a noob in electronics and i am trying to make a quadcopter drone.I found about stm32f411ceu6 inav firmware on internet github. I only used arduino before and this stm32f411ceu6 was my first one.I connected it with my laptop in dfu mode and used impulseRC driver fixer to install dfu driver and it worked perfectly.Then i installed the inav firmware.Detailes: https://github.com/rizacelik/STM32F411CEU6_INAV_Firmware I can now connect as com10 port and inav configurator is working fine.But i now whenever i connect my stm32 in dfu mode my windows wont recognize it.It boots into dfu a pop us shows usb device not recognized.Basically i cant access my microcontroller in dfu mode for firmware updates.Can anyone please help me?Thank you...

Hi,This is using the STM32H7S78-DK.So I have a stm32cubeide project containing two sub projects1. `STM32H7S78-DK_Appli`2. `STM32H7S78-DK_Boot``STM32H7S78-DK_Boot` is not changing, code changes are in `STM32H7S78-DK_Appli`.The only way I can find to debug that works is to flash `STM32H7S78-DK_Appli` and then `STM32H7S78-DK_Boot`:If instead I only flash the `Appli` then it gets stuck in the HardFault_handler, if I then reset the board via the button I hit my breakpoint.

I am progressing on porting the CubeU5 project for STM32U575I-EV as Ux_Device_CDC_ECM to a NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q board: The USB enumeration seems to work: I hear the sound and I see also an USB "STM32 CDC ECM" device.BTW: very important to go with the right BSP files: the NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q has a different USPD chip! Hello,I am using a bog standard, new, out of the box Nucleo-wba52cg.For some reason I can't get PA8 aka GPIO_23 to pull lower than about 1.6V?I discovered this when running the TIM_OCToggle example program.  TIM_OCToggle uses TIM2 to toggle pins on each of the TIM2_CHANNEL_X pins.  All of the channels are working as expected except that TIM_CHANNEL_2/PA8/GPIO_23 never got fully low.  The signal is high at 3.3V as expected, but low is 1.6V, which is not expected and not gonna work for my app.I've tried to narrow down the issue using a variety of other out-of-the-box examples.  Perhaps the simplest is GPIO_IOToggle.  I've modified it to toggle PA8 in addition to PA7.I'm still seeing a low value of 1.6V?Here is the main.c file from the modified GPIO_IOToggle example with 1 line modified (113), and one added(137)... both labeled MODIFIED in comments...   

The manual I have for the STM32U585 describes the Independent Watchdog (IWDG) peripheral and says it has an Early Wake-Up Interrupt (EWI) feature.  The manual says "Wake-up from Stop with interrupt is supported only in Stop 0, Stop 1, and Stop 2 modes", but I found this in the U585 Errata: "The independent watchdog (IWDG) is functional in Stop mode and the device exits Stop 0, Stop 1, Stop 2 andStop 3 modes in case of IWDG reset.  However, the early wakeup interrupt does not wake up the device from Stop 0, Stop 1 and Stop 2 modes.Note: As specified, the IWDG early wakeup interrupt does not wake up the device from Stop 3 mode."   Does this mean that the EWI will only work if the processor is in run mode when it occurs?  Will it work in Sleep mode?

I'm new to STM32. I made a custom board using STM32H7S3V8T6, but I think the HSE OSC configuration is failing. If I build main.c in (in Boot, not Appli), if (HAL_RCC_OscConfig(&RCC_OscInitStructure)!= HAL_OK) This part doesn't make HAL_OK, so this goes to Error_Handler. I don't know if the hardware configuration is wrong or if there's a problem with the software. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (X322524MOB4SI)

Now I want to use ADC3 to collect the voltage of single-ended signals. I used IN1 channel to collect the reference voltage source of 1.5V and the internal channel to collect the internal reference voltage source of the chip respectively. Hi,I'm trying to set my setup my SPI1 as slave full duplex on my STM32G030K8 and i reach the HAL_SPI_TxRxCpltCallback when receiving message, but I always read value 0 in my rxbuffer when my master is spamming 16 @ 1MHz at a 1 sec intervall. Hello! I am working with a STM32U073 on 1.8V and I want to use the USB feature. Indeed, the datasheet tells us that USB needs a separate power supply around 3V (4.1 Power supplies), but every time when I apply this voltage on VDDUSB pin, it goes to the VDD pins too. And vice versa, if I supply only the VDD pins with 1.8V, same voltage is on VDDUSB, without traces between them. I set / cleared according to datasheet the PVM1, PVMO1 and USV bits (4.2.3 Peripheral Voltage Monitoring (PVM)). It can be something internal? I checked the PCB and traces and is nothing wrong.

Can Single DMA channel be used for multiple DMA Streams?As per Table 43. DMA1 request mapping in reference manual, Can I use Channel 6 for Stream0 (TIM5_CH3), Stream 3(TIM5_CH4), Stream 4 (TIM5_CH2).I understand that Single stream I cannot use more than one channel. But how about using same channel with multiple streams? Is it ok?

Hello, I try to add MSC feature to my app. MCU is L452.To avoid side effects, I started a brand new app with cubeIDE/Mx.I activated USB_DEVICE feature.I declared the USB_DEVICE as mass storage class.I had a look to the MSC_standalone example from G0 cube library and did not see more calls to the usb lib from the main (except PD features that are not relevant for me) than the call to MX_USB_DEVICE_Init(); Nothing in the intrerrupt file too.For this reason, I was expecting my device to appear in windows explorer as an external storage (of course with no data because nothing is implemented at this level) but it's not the case. I put some breakpoints in usbd_storage_if.c but none of the functions is called. Are there some more calls I should do to make my PC discover my device as usb storage? or should I suspect a hardware failure? ThanksJulien  

Hi there I am using STM32L051 to talk to a RS485 transceiver and I am having problem with the receive part.System is as follow: laptop->FTDI USB converter-> Renesas transceiver -> STM32I want to update the single byte buffer when a character is detected on the RX line by means of an interrupt.Interrupt is detected the first time then microcontroller does not go into interrupt any longer on subsequent send of byte from the terminal. Posted on January 30, 2013 at 12:49Hello all, at the moment I have some issues with the voltages on the STM32F4 Discovery Board. The two diodes D1 and D3 (BAT60JFILM) causes a voltage drop around 0.32V, so that the 5V only delivers 4,68V and not 5V. What is about the 3V Pin ?! I measure 2.95V, but I guess it must be 3.3V or ?!  Secondly I want to know if I can power the the Board through the 5V Pins with a external  5V power supply and at connect the USB cable to programm/debug the board at the same time ?! I just need a Vref of 3.3V because a ADC implementation in my project. I want to sample the signal of an MEMS accelerometer. Thank you. best regards, opcode

I have a general question. I am using STM32F423 and STM32L407 Evaluation boards for practicing. So in both there boards they are using the debugger IC which is STM32F103CBT6.i.  Why are they using this IC and what exactly does this IC does in programming the main IC.?ii. Without this if we program, what will happen? and why can't we do that.?

Hi all,I'm using an STM32F413 to write to an uSD card via DMA over SDIO. I'm using the FATFS (R0.12c).  Up until now, I've been writing to the SD card by firstly mounting, opening the file, write, write, write... then closing and unmounting. I'm writing to the SD 30 times at 0.5Hz an unfixed/irregular amount of data (approx 54 chars) in sequential order in a for loop that repeats 30 times. After each successful write I call:  f_sync(&SDFile);​  The issue I am seeing is that over time, consistently 20.5 minutes of 0.5Hz writing, the SD_read (called by f_sync) function gives me a FR_DISK_ERR. I also see that if I mount, open, write, close, open, write, close... etc. I am seeing this issue again
