Good Day and Hello Everyone. In my upcoming project, my task is to upgrade the currently used MCU from STM32F103ZG to STM32H755ZI. My question are;1- Can I replace all the FSMC I/O pins that I'm currently using on STM32F103ZG with the FMC I/O pins on STM32H755ZI?2- If not, are there any other option for me to find a replacement for FMSC I/O pin that I'm currently used on STM32F103ZG to other pins on STM32H755ZI?3- Can I replace all the FSMC_NOE, FSMC_NWE and FMSC_NWAIT pins that I'm currently using on STM32F103ZG with the FMC_NOE, FMC_NWE and FMC_NWAIT I/O pins on STM32H755ZI?Thank you in advance for all your advice, opinion and tips. Any answer are highly appreciated.    

Hi, I've just got the STM32H723ZG Nucleo board and I'm trying to set up a High-Speed 480mbps data transmission. Do I need to buy an external PHY or does the model already support High-Speed USB communication?

When Vin>min (07 x VDDIO, 2), is it considered that the input is at a high level? When Vin<min (0.3 x VDDIO, 0.8), is the input considered low?Thank you very much!

Hi, Please advise . I've been designing with the STM32G0B0R at my company. I have some ports connected to a ULN2003A driver input and ouputs to a relay's negative return, since the relay is conneted to 12V . specifically PC10, PC11. PC12,PC13. the ULN2003A driver is said to have internal pulldown resistor  on it inputs about 10.7K through a combination of resistors shown in the datasheet. Is there any concern that I should be aware of that during the initialization of the STM32G0B0R's  bootloader, a relay would go active unexpected . As a hardware engineer I'm thinking that just having external pull down resistor incase the micro goes into a high impedane state during its initialization time should be sufficient. Or Is this sufficient to argue that pull down resistor externally to each pin should keep the relays inactive during these initialization periods of the bootloader as far as hardware is concerned external. Hello comunity, I am using the CMSIS DSP library in order to perform FFT to 1412 sample set with a sampling freq of 16.83Khz. I am trying different approaches to find the 16th harmonic after the fft, but i get an inaccurate value. for example, Zero-padiing until 4096(supported length) is an spectral resolution of 16.83Khz/4096 = 4.10Hz but for a fundamental freq of 11.9 i need to get the freqs values 11.9*16 = 190.4 Can anyone knows how can i achieve this?

We have observed that, sometimes, some of the devices are resetted --> Here you have the main specs of my device:- Device is working in Stop2 mode- It's is waking up every 31.25ms because of RTC interrupt, in order to do all the tasks. And then it goes back to stop2 mode- Device has a watchdog implemented (1.5")We have observed that some devices are automatically reseted sometimes: some devices are reseted many times par day, some devices are reseted a few times par day, or some devices are never reseted.In order to allow us look for this reset reason, we have set device in debug mode, but surprisingly, in debug mode device is never stopped or reseted. Hi, I am troubleshooting a custom board using USBPD as sink. It only negotiates a PDO on one orientation of the USBC connector.Checked with an oscilloscope and I see waveform going to CC1 on the orientation that works , naturally, and changing orientation I see a waveform going to CC2 but it does not negotiate on this side. I know the signal goes to CC2's pin. The pin is configured in STM32CubeIDE as UCPD_CC2 and set to analog mode. The cable detection feature also does not work to detect dettach events.Any advice appreciated. Using 4.1.0 TCPP library version.   

I've setup an STM32F407 as a CDC Host on the HS peripheral with Full Speed (FS) comms, but the IN transaction always returns a NAK and no Device data is received on the Bulk Data pipe. I used the USB Host example from ST.com (userfunction that only transmit a message when the application=ready and a button is pushed, a receive api USBH_CDC_Receive is called within the transmit call back. I also tried a while loop with just receive after sending a message).The STM32 Host appears to enumerate the CDC device correctly (status=CDC_CLASS at end of process). The USBH_CDC_Transmit function correctly sends an OUT transaction, an ACK acknowledge byte is returned, the USBH_CDC_TransmitCallback is triggered, and everything is visible as expected via the packet sniffer.When using the USBH_CDC_Receive for an IN transaction, the packet sniffer sees an apparently corr

Hello,  I am trying to make FDCAN work but I am not receiving any messages. The TX is working fine but when trying to receive messages the interrupt is not triggered. I am using STM32H7 series with freertos. I have set the filter, started FDCAN, enabled interrupts, activated notifications,.. Any idea what I have missed? Hi, We are working on a low power application which uses an emmc memory. Now we have problem when Deinit mmc driver. When mmc is disabled we have a base consumption of XXuA (stop 2 power mode) but when it is needed mmc must be enabled (using Init functions from HAL) and then disabled again (using DeInit functions from HAL). after this process it is not possible to reach again XXuA, a 8mA are added to the base consumption. Is it needed to add some deinit function to the system or must we disable (forced) some clocks or internal supplies to asure de-initialization of mmc driver?   Thanks

I am trying to read ADC value of internal tempreature sensor of my STM32F446 board. The data sheet says that the temp sensor is connected to ADC1_IN18 (page no. 37/198), but there is no such pin in STM32F446xx pin and ball descriptions. Can someone please help me from which pin can I extract the analog value of temperature sensor ?? Thanking you in advance..

ADC1 and ADC2 run in interleaved dual mode using DMA. Resolution for both ADCs is set to 8-bit. ADC1 is sampling CH1 and CH2 in differential mode. The results that I get from DMA are a bit strange: If my positive input is ~1.65V, if my negative input is also ~1.65V, I get 127 counts? What am I missing here? I would expect that if there is a small pos or neg difference, value will be close to 0 instead of close to 128.

tying to find what frequency the hsi is at startup  and normally i search the datasheet for clocks and startup but this returns nothing in the datasheet for the stm32h753bi mcu only thing i see is that it has 4 clocks and it says the hsi is 64mhz is this it 

Hi All,I have interfaced  Winbond W25Q128 external flash and IS42S32400F-7TL external RAM to STM32H750IBK micro on my custom board. I have found an external loader file (stldr) for my pin configuration from a community member.I can program, read and erase my external flash memory with the stldr file using STMCube Programmer.I have also prepared a bootloader application that initializes the clock at 64 MHz, initializes the QSPI and brings it into memory mapped mode and then jumps to the application in the external memory. This also works fine, I can successfully jump to external app after re powering my board and I can see that the application on the external memory is running.However I could not find a way to debug my external application either alone or starting from the bootloader app in STMCube IDE. It gives me "Break at address "0x8000550" with no debug information available, or outside of program code."And when I use OPEN OCD for debuggin

For my project, I need to use a parallel RGB interface (8 bits) to control a display using Nucleo-F411RE. The PCLK for the RGB interface is required to be a minimum of 1MHz.However, the STM32-F411RE does not have any LTDC peripherals. So I implemented the parallel RGB interface using a timer interrupt at a 1MHz frequency and GPIO pins for sending data, but it does not work. For lower timer interrupt frequencies like 10 KHz, it can send data but for 1 MHz nothing of this code works, including UART transmit-receive and others.So, is it possible to implement a parallel RGB interface in SMT32-F411RE (Or similar where there is no LDTC peripheral)? If possible then how? Or, do I need to use another STM32 that has LTDC peripherals on it? 

Hi, I'm new to embedded (as in one week old) and am trying to build a small system to do a few things for an optical product we're building: mainly temp measurement (Omega SA1-RTD with MAX31865) and LED management for optical lasers. Currently I have both working on STM32F446RE (Nucleo board for now), which is great.Now, I need to be able to communicate with the system from the computer (Ubuntu box). We have the rest of the system (a collection of 10 motors, all daisy chained to work with MODBUS over RS485) connected to the computer via an RS485/USB adapter. I was thinking of making this STM32 system act as another peripheral to be part of that daisy chain.My question now is: how can I build this communication link? I have a working example of interrupt handling with the user button on the Nucleo on EXTI15_10. However, I'm not sure how I can set up interrupts for USART (I'm assuming that'd be the way for MODBUS). I hooked up for USART2, but don't see how I can receive
