Hi everyone,I'm encountering an issue with generating a 1 MHz sine wave using the DAC, TIM, and DMA for DDS. I'm utilizing a wave table to generate the sine wave.Currently, I have the HCLK and APB2 clocks both set to 180 MHz, and I'm using TIM8 as the timer for the DAC. I've configured the timer with a prescaler (PSC) of (1-1) and an auto-reload register (ARR) of (2-1), which gives me an FMCLK of 90 MHz. The LUT (wave table) length is set to 180, and the DAC data width is set to Word. However, instead of the expected 1 MHz output, I'm getting an incorrect result of around 125 kHz.I've tried various methods and different parameter adjustments. Changing the FMCLK causes the output frequency to drop further, and altering the LUT length affects the output voltage. Hi all,I am trying to implement a dual active bridge in three phase system. You need one three phase PWM system on the primary and second three phase PWM system on the secondary. Phase shift of PWMs within primary are fixed 120 deg. Same on the secondary. You are controlling the power flow by changing the phase shift between the primary and the secondary system.I started with the simple nucleo STM32F446RE and first tried to implement a single three phase PWM. I did it using 3 timers where TIM1 channel 1 is used for PWM generation and channel 2 as Output compare No Output. TIM2 is in a slave mode Trigger Mode and trigger source is ITR0 from TIM1. Similarly, TIM2 has channel 1 configured as PWM output and channel 2 as Output Compare No Output which triggers TIM3, the last PWM output. I am wondering now how to implement the phase shift between the primary and secondary. Hi All,I am Ketan, and I am implementing own driver for STM32F4 device. I have STM32F4-DISCO Development, everything looks fine when I2C talks on-board slave device (CS43L22) but when I2C talk to external slave, which is connected thorough Jumper wire, it seems start condition not able to generate. most of time, I switch off the external slave and switch on, then works fine. but without power off external slave, looks start condition is not able to generate. I am not suspecting driver issue, because on-board slave device address able to read.

Hi,I am using STM32F030 for a project where I need to trigger ADC conversion every 100us. I am running this SoC on 8MHz HSI. I am using TIM3 TRG for initiating ADC conversion every 100us. I am obtain ADC every 100us with ADC_CH5 which is set to 3V3 and getting result in 4024 decimals. But I am unable to get readings from ADC_CH7 which is set to GND and I always get same reading as of ADC_CH5.May be I am not correctly configuring ADC_CH7 or there is an issue in interrupt handling. I have an application requiring updating the integral and derivative values for a set of PID controllers.  Each arriving error value must be added to the integral value and subtracted with the last error value. I want to streamline this with DMA. I can almost use the FMAC to handle it, but not quite.  Oddly, if I wanted to execute trig functions on the incoming values (instead of addition\subtraction) I could use the CORDIC coprocessor. Further, the CORDIC unit runs algorithms that involve the simple addition I need…so if it can be modified, it could do what I need with ease.  There’s even 6 function options that are unused... I’m assuming the CORDIC unit is microcoded…is this correct? 

I am trying to flash and debug my .elf file with the help of openocd and gdb server in UBUNTU . After opening gdb prompt either using gdb-multiarch or arm-none-eabi-gdp and trying the command : target remote localhost:3333 , I am prompted with an error as shown:I am a noob and have very less idea on GDB, openocd etc. Some references of GDB , telnet , openocd will also be appreciated

Hello everyone, I am using NUCLEO-F410RB Board embedding STM32F410RBTx Device and I was trying to port the FreeRTOS bare minimum(kernel w/o CMSIS) api here and it is throwing me an error when I create a bare minimum task(no global variables or arrays in the main either.)Note: It is building properly when I am not using the FreeRTOS Apis.   The Linker file .ld says that the chip has this much Memory/* Memories definition */MEMORY{RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 32KFLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x8000000, LENGTH = 128K}Main.c

Where does one find documentation on the required flash wait states for stm32u575 running at a specific frequency and voltage range?In these forums and on the internet I find a number of tables but they all seem to be for other products.  I've search all the documentation I can find in the ST doc site for this chip:data sheetsreference manualprogrammers manualapplication noteserrataI find all the information I need to set the wait states, but I find nothing that tells me how to calculate the proper value to set based on speedand voltage range.Any help would be appreciated Shawn

Hi!I am new to Microcontrollers so the question could be not really exciting but I think it could help me to understand how clock and timers work.  I want to toggle the LD2 every 1 sec through a TIMER. I have set up the SysClock at 2MHz and a TIMER running at 1KHz counting 1 sec, through pre-scaler(2000) and the Auto-reloded register (1000). I have started the timer before the while(1) loop and I want to toggle the LED2 every 1 sec in the loop so I have used the following code lines. It seems to not working correctly. Why ?
