STM32 MCUs Products

So far, I have the feeling that you can connect ITRx only to TRGO of other timers.I am wondering if it is possible to connect them to other signals, e.g. ADC, UART, etc. signals?For example, if I have: Slave Mode: Reset ModeTrigger Source: ITR0Clock Source: Internal Clock And I wish that every time a byte is received by the usart2 then ITR0 is triggered so that the running timer is reset, how to do that?I know that there are other cleaner solutions for resetting the timer upon a byte is received in usart, but I am just trying to understand if it is possible and how to connect ITRx to other signals that are NOT TRGO:s. Also: does the above configuration make any sense? 

i am using stm3210e eval board. Hi all, For several days I have been trying to send and receive something via CAN, but I am unable to do so on the Riverdi LCD board. I read two posts here with similar problems and instructions and videos from ST, but it did not solve my problem. CAN still does not work in normal mode. I tried too on loopback mode STM board: >>  Riverdi board  On the second board with nucleo 64, I made a simple program that sends 8 bytes and works correctly.

I have a CAN Network with several nodes. Each nodes sends only a ACK when the message was ment for it. Lets say I have nodes A, B and C.Node A wants to send the message with ID 0x5. Node B ignores this message. Node C accepts this message (sends Ack). But currently, Node B is sending a burst of messages with ID 0x4.What I have learned so far is, that I must have "Automatic Retransmission" on, else in this scenario, when Node A is trying to send the message and is loosing the Arbitration phase, it deletes the message. With "Automatic Retransmission" on, it sends the message as soon as the bus is free again.Now the problem: Supose now node C gets disconnected from the network. With "Automatic Retransmission", node A spams the bus forever, since there is no Ack for the message. Now no message with higher ID than 0x5 can be sent anymore.I want that node A resends the message after it lost in Arbitration phase, but that the bus does not get spammed forever if

Hello everyone, I'm currently facing a puzzling issue with the Flexible Data-rate Controller Area Network (FDCAN) on the STM32H755ZI board. Despite using the exact same code that works flawlessly on the STM32H753 board, I am unable to get the FDCAN to function properly on the H755ZI. Symptoms: When setting the board in external loopback mode, everything seems fine. The mailbox fills up and behaves as expected, which indicates that the FDCAN module is internally operational. However, when I move out of loopback mode to test actual CAN bus functionality using a logic analyzer or an oscilloscope, I observe no signals on the CAN_H or CAN_L lines. Hello all,   I am trying to receive CAN frames from a BMS, each frame is sent every 100ms and i am running the MCU's clock frequency at 180MHz (max speed) for Nucleo F446RE. Unfortunately, i am missing some frames randomly and it makes my stateflow not working properly. The CAN filter is set to 0 everywhere so all the frames from the BMS can be handled. Does anyone know what i could do to solve the problem?   Thanks in advance

I made a driver for 1-Wire communication using UART in Single Wire Half Duplex mode.The communication is started by sending a RESET pulse that should last 480us. I read that to do it using UART I should set it up to 9600 baud, 8N1, then send 0xf0. Long story short - I've done that, all using DMA and interrupts, it works. I communicate with my DS18B20 thermometer with no problems. However - I was curious what goes over the wire and I connected an oscilloscope to the TX line. And I see something weird. My reset pulse lasts exactly 520us instead of 480. Then I see DS18B20 doesn't mind that timing and responds with a presence pulse of 120us, that is read over UART as 0xe0. Then the baud rate is changed to 115200 and everything works. However - that 520us is bothering me. WHY?BTW, it's stable. I understand that ADC Linear Calibration is performed during device production and the values stored in the System Memory.However, I have been unable to find any documentation on where the 6 values are stored.Also, are their 6 values per ADC device (ADC1, ADC2, ADC3) or do one set of values apply to all 3 ADCs? 

I would like to know if it is possible to generate a sweep signal (a sine wave with increasing frequency) using DAC with DIMA transfer and simultaneously sample it by ADC and store these ADC values in memory.To generate the sweep signal, I use TIM2 as a DAC DMA trigger and consequently increase the prescaler value to change the frequency of the signal. Because I need a fixed ADC sampling rate, I cannot use the same timer to trigger ADC DMA, so TIM3 is used instead. To synchronize two timers, I did the trick with master-slave timer synchronization, where TIM1 is a trigger source for TIM2 and TIM3. My STM32H747 (Portenta H7), with latest CubeHAL H7 drivers, fails on USB streaming, as USB audio from MCU to host (USB Digital Microphone).It enters in USB FS IRQ handler all the time the branch with the "Incomplete ISO OUT". I want to use a STM32G4 device in a new project but I was disappointed to find the USB implementation only supported Device mode.What is the hardware (implemented in the MCU) that make it capable of host mode from device mode (OTG supports both)?  Without knowing the answer - can the missing hardware be implemented in software using the USB cell made for just device mode?  Thanks. 

I'm developing a vibration and temperature analysis system.To do this, I have developed a sensor based on an STM32L053C8 chip and a KX122-1037 accelerometer.Looking at the datasheet, this accelerometer can reach a maximum data rate of 25600Hz, which is great for my analysis since I need to generate an FFT of the received data.My operation is as follows: I have a number of vibration samples that I need to collect, currently I'm using 2048 samples. These samples need to be collected over 1 second, so that they represent one of the operating frequencies of the machine being analyzed. In other words, I need to take 2048 accelerometer vibration readings in 1 second equally spaced by a microsecond delay. My problem lies in this part of the reading. The time between readings is too long, so I've connected a led that stays on after the reading is taken and goes off when a new reading starts. This way I could measure the waiting time, and I arrived at 4 seconds for t
