We are using STM32CubeProgrammer and STLINK-V3SET to program our products on our assembly line for mass production. We have a couple of questions 1) Is there a way to program using the command line or some other mechanism to keep a record of the number of devices programmed successfully or failed to program in a day?2) Is there a mechanism using any pin on STLINK-V3SET to check that programming is successful which some other hardware can connect to keep track of flashing is successful or not 

Hi, I am using STM 32 STLINK-V3. Thereis a problem with following UART receiver function.    __HAL_UART_CLEAR_FLAG(&huart5, UART_CLEAR_NEF|UART_CLEAR_OREF); HAL_UART_Receive(&huart5, rx_buffer, ROVER_MSG_LEN, 1000); __HAL_UART_DISABLE_IT(&huart5,UART_IT_RXNE);   . Without clearing the flag rx_buffer remains empty even though there is a data observed from hardware with oscilloscope. I stept into the function and see flag remains up constantly but now only varying few initial bits of the buffer gets the data still rest remians empty. Is this a bug does any one knows ? 

Hi all,  for a projet I need to create a signal at 500khz, and every 60 µs I want to stop the toggle (or not) I generate the signal with the output compare of tim2 (on stm32L073)then, in TIM2_IRQHandler(void)I try to count the number of call, then stop the toggle. but the in fact, I have more than 5 period.the command to stop and start the toggle is correct, but the bit duration not. where can I count the exact number of the toggling of tim2 output compare please? bit_duration = bit_duration +1; if (bit_duration == 5) // 5 is an exemple to test.{TIM2 -> CCMR1 &= ~TIM_CCMR1_OC1M; //set to 0 = keep levelTIM2 -> CCMR1 |= (3 << TIM_CCMR1_OC1M_Pos); // restart the tooglebit_duration = 0;

Hi,I have written application using visual studio C#. And I send commands through the COM port from my Visual Studio application to my STM32 board. There is a bit of strangeness, when I run the live debugger using STlink V2 with STM32CubeIDE I can see the command come through the receiver buffer and my board responds to that command. But when I dont use the live debugger, I cant see the command come through the COM port and my board does not respond to do anything.I have set of commands that control certain things to do on the board. How can I track whether the command sending through the COM port. Is there possibility COM port is stuck or hanging with command.

I have a BMA5 accelerometer sensor and I want to change its I2C address. I have enabled I2C1 in cubemx and set pull-up for SDA and SCK lines. I need guidance on the program algorithm and cubemx setting for this task as I am new to this field. Also, I would like to know, do I have to initialize the I2C1_init() again after setting the new address. Thank you.

Using the Nucleo L412KC as a template, I fabbed a tiny test board to see if I could make my own kit.It is extremely basic, but when I connect the 3V3, GND, NRST, SWDIO, SWDCLK, none of the reset modes in the IDE result in the STLINK detecting the chip: Starting server with the following options:Persistent Mode : DisabledLogging Level : 1Listen Port Number : 61234Status Refresh Delay : 15sVerbose Mode : DisabledSWD Debug : Enabled Target no device found Error in initializing ST-LINK device.Reason: No device found on target. Here is the schematic: 

Hello everyone,I used Nucleo-F767ZI board for my vehicle robot. I just securely attach the board to the robot and then testing my robot move on different terrains.After this test, I can not connect ST-Link (fail.txt file appeared) and my board did not operate anymore. I tried to press RESET button or upgrade ST-Link firmware, reconnect USB cable or even reset my computer but nothing worked.I believe this board dead. My question: Does ST have documents on shock protection or anti-vibration standards for the Nucleo board?Do I need to install an additional damping system for the board? 

Hello I m trying to figure out how to configure the  CCR bit field in I2C_CCR register in STM32F407 in the reference manual RM0090 it says check the datasheet for the definitions of "tr(SCL) + tw(SCLH)." but I couldn't find them on the datasheet. On the section of I2C characteristics there only I2C analog filter characteristics. Can anyone help?

Hello,I am use a winbond W25Q128JV chip which is connected to the OCTOSPI interface of my STM32H563. I read/write the flash in direct mode. The transfers are done with DMA. Everything works fine as long as the address is smaller than 0x200000 (2 MByte). As soon as I cross that border the DMA stops with HAL_XSPI_FLAG_TE. I'm developing a vibration and temperature sensor solution for industrial machinery.Previously, my system was equipped with Atmega 328p chips, but it has now been upgraded to an STM32LO53C8T8 chip.The circuit has a LoRa radio for sending signals to the gateway, a KX122-1037 accelerometer, a MCP9808 temperature sensor, a MAX17048 battery sensor and a MB85RC FRAM. I connected the TX pin to the arduino Mega to get a DEBUG display on the arduino IDE's serial monitor.I assembled a PCB with the wiring diagram in the attached image, and it worked well for programming the microcontroller. However, I started to experience some problems when executing the code.Firstly, my code is only executed by the chip when the system finishes uploading and resets it. I added an external 10K pull-up resistor to the chip's reset (which wasn't on the PCB). Now I can run the code whenever I pulse GND on the pin. Hello,I tried to execute the demo for the STM32G474E EVAL1 explained in this document : STM32CubeG4 STM32G474E-EVAL demonstration firmware - User manual.But, I have an error when the board tries to display the pictures which are on the SD card.I got " Error popup resource file missing please update sd card content".I checked the SD card and my files are well in the right directory.I tried with two different SD cards and I have the same issue.When I checked with the debugger, I have the impression that is a problem during the initialization of the SD card during the call of SD_GoIdleState()But now I have no idea to go further in my investigation.So I search some help to solve my issue

Hi all, I’m reaching out for assistance with integrating an ST485ABDR transceiver with an STM32F723ZET6 microcontroller. I have encountered issues while trying to control an RS485 stepper motor driver using this setup; however, I am able to communicate successfully with the motor driver using a software called “ModbusView TCP” (program that monitors and simulates Modbus ASCII, RTU, and TCP/IP communications from a PC). Hello, I would like to know if anyone has already encountered this problem. I have an LPTIMER configured with an ARR Match interrupt at 100ms I also want to enter my interrupt every 10ms so I added an interrupt in compare mode at 10ms.I have 2 questions: - When I enter my interrupt I test the interrupt that was called but both are permanently TRUE, is it possible to use the COMPARE mode interrupt with the ARR Match interrupt?- The register allowing to clear the interrupts does not seem to work in my case, because before exiting I clear all possible interruptions through the LPTIM1->ICR register but the ISR register is still equals to 1 for all of my interrupts...  

Hello,For my project I am working on two nucleo board H743ZI2.Unfortunately, during an experimentation one of the boards ceased working (LD4 and LD6 red). Hello,Has anyone seen ADC noise generated by the 50 MHz RMII clock (PA1) affecting the measurement on ADC1_IN0 (PA0)? (approximately 100 codes in 4096).If so does anyone had a fix to suppress it?All other ADC channels used do not have the same level of noise (approximately 10 codes in 4096), and when ETH_REF_CLK is removed, the noise is the same as the other ADC channels.Part STM32F437 LQFP100.TIA.
