hello everyone. I've bought a board from WeAct Studio and I've successfully configured LVDC it to show a constant 16 bit image from Flash . Hello everybody! I am new on this forum, my name is Francesco and I am an STM32 MCU enthusiast :) I am currently using the STM32F042U6G6 in one of my project and I noticed that in the ISR vector table generated by CUBE-MX in startup_stm32f042g6u6ux.s file, the addresses where DMA ISR vectors (other than DMA1-channel1) should be mapped, are given to "0" adddress and commented as reserved.However, on the reference manual of the MCU they are clearly specified to be the DMA channels ISR vectors. Didn't find anything on the errata so I don't think they are reserved to workaround some MCU hardware issues. Does anyone know why they might have been set to null pointer?Thank you in advance,Francesco

Hi guys,I need your collective intelligence, because I am a bit lost on the information given by the ST datasheets and reference manuals.Backstory: on a few of our prototypes we started to see random failing behavior and investigated quite a bit. The faulty behavior seems to start when the stack lies in SRAM2 region. KEILs default linker file has IROM region from 0x20000000 to 0x20005000 which is SRAM1 and SRAM2 together as one region.Could it indeed be that the Stack in SRAM2 or even over the edge between SRAM1 and SRAM2 could cause faulty behavior? Hello,I need to create an .elf file from a program that I didn't write but has already proven to work. I'm using an STM32L031K6T6 processor and I work with STMCubeIDE. I selected the processor correctly when creating the STM program. The HAL directory is correctly added to the Include path. When I try to debug the project, the error "fatal error: stm3210xx_hal_adc.h" appears seceral times.If I am not allowed to change the code, what settings can I still investigate which could be causing the error?Thanks in advance.

Hi all,I am currently working on a project where an 8 bit bus of 32 MHz is sent to a STM32G474, which has to be saved for 8kB at a time followed by that data being sent over SPI. I have got the SPI part working fine, my question is mainly regarding AN4666 (reception), as it is very close to my purpose.I am currently just getting started in the world of STM32 and have a hard time adjusting (shifting from the Arduino IDE and Xilinx Vivado to STM32Cube) and the example code given with AN4666 is nothing like what STM32Cube generates when starting a (random) project. Is there any way to implement this in STM32Cube with this specific microcontroller? I have got GPIO PB0-7 free.

Hello, I want to supply my St Iot discovery kit board with a battery supply, I have changed the header pin to 5V_VBAT. As i am connecting my battery to the Vin and gnd pins the red LED keeps blinking and LD5 is off.  Kindly give some suggestions how should I fix this. I am using a 5v rechargeable battery for this, can I use a 9v battery for the same or it will damage the board ?

Hi Developers,I have an STM32L0 microcontroller connected to an NRF24 module via SPI and a SIM808 module via UART. The system is designed to remain in stop mode until an interrupt is triggered by the NRF24 module. Upon interrupt, the microcontroller wakes up, sends data to a database via the SIM808 module, and then returns to sleep mode.However, after the initial wake-up, the microcontroller fails to wake up again, even if messages are sent to the NRF24 module. Strangely, if I comment out the execution of the SIM808 module, the system works properly.I've checked the interrupt handling, power management settings, UART communication, and hardware connections, but I'm still stuck. Any ideas on what might be causing this issue?

Hi,I am considering STM32U5 to interface up to 6 PDM microphones. I see that  with some STM32U5 version 2 SAIs interface are available. How many PDM microphone can I interface in this case? I found some specific documentation related to G4 (up to 6 microphones) and H7 series (up to 8 microphones) and I would like to be sure about U5.Best regards,

Hi all,Reading page 400 of RM0399 (Reference manual STM32H745/755 and STM32H747/757). It talks about how to allocate peripherals for each core. But I don't understand. I can't seem to find the PERxEN bit in either RCC_DnxxxxENR or RCC_C1_DnxxxxENR registers.How do I allocate the green and red LEDs (pins) of this board to CM4? or green to CM4 and red to CM7?Here is the port pin initialization code I have and some #defines. Hi,I just got a Nucleo 64 with an STM32F466 and want to start developing some own softwareinitialise the MCU for with the maximum clock possibleread 96 kHz stereo SPDIF frames from one of the inputs (polling would be fine)analyse the received data (just some very simple and fast math)What I'm looking for are ideas for the first two points to start with. I've tried both Zephyr RTOS and an STM32CubeIDE HAL project, and cannot get the FDCAN interface to work.After performing requisite initialization steps, I add a packet to the TX FIFO. No error is returned, but no packet is transmitted. I can repeat this two more times, but on the fourth attempt, I will get an error because the TX FIFO is full.I have attached a logic analyzer to the TX pin (PA12), and I do not see any output (the line remains in the same state). On Zephyr, I've instrumented the driver on Zephyr, and verified that no CAN interrupts are happening.  UART is working (I get debug output).Since that wasn't working, I used the STM32CubeIDE to create a new project and "borrowed" some CAN transmit code from another ST sample, and I see the same behavior -- the code enqueues a CAN message to the TX FIFO, waits a second, and repeats. On the fourth attempt, we get an error that the TX FIFO is full. I'm happy to provide this code if it helps. I've tried

Hello there!I have a custom board to control a motor, which I have tested so far using SWD, but now I need it to use the USB DFU to upload new code. As far as I get it, to make the DFU work, I have to put some code in the microcontroller. Following some online tutorials, where I use STM32CubeProgrammer to upload a .bin file, which I did successfully, when I unplug it and put Boot0 to high, Windows gives a warning of "USB device not recognized", and in device manager, "Device Descriptor Request Failed". I have assigned the driver manually to "STM Device in DFU Mode", but there has been no change. (I tried this process with a blue pill, and it worked :\ )I have also tried to use STM32CubeIDE to install the DFU mode with a simple blink, where in Middleware and Software Packs - USB Device - Class for FS IP, I put in Download Firmware Update Class (DFU), but I am not certain if this is enough, or if I should put something else in the cod

I am reaching out regarding a query about the STM32F407G-DISC1 target. Upon reviewing the datasheet, I noted that it indicates the target does not support reading while writing. However, upon personal experimentation, I found that it functions correctly in this regard.Could you kindly provide clarification on this matter? Hello,I'm having problems with the adc conversions on my STM32G491.There is an error of 23-26% higher than measured with scope or multimeter.I'm using ADC1 & 2 in dual mode with DMA, I have an input signal coming from an opamp voltage follower.I'll attach the adc file, the signal I used to compare ADC1 & 2 results is DETECT_PAM.Kind regards,Yves

I have made a prototype, and it runs as just after upload. But when i just turn on the power, it wont. It does not matter if the st-linkv3 ist connected or not. When i reset it, via the NRST pin, it also wont run.I already used the HSE and HSI, and checked on a nucleo, that my code is working (it does).I dont know how i further can investigate this. The level of NRST is clean and the level is good.

Hi,I'm developing a project based on the STM32U535VET, in which I have 12 touch buttons and a TFT display.Starting condition:I'm in a situation in which I'm reading the TSC channels and I'm having some "analog" problems. If the Vdda isn't enabled, the TSC seems to work correctly and the TSC channel waveforms are what I expected, i.e. the quare wave charging the electrode capacitance Cx goes from 0 to Vdd=3.3V at the beginning of the channel charging time, thus the sampling capacitor Cs charges in a certain time (see image D000, in which the blue channel is the Cx voltage and the red one is the Cs voltage).Problem 1:As soon as the Vdda is enabled (using HAL_PWREx_EnableVddA()), all the TSC channel waveforms are modified in the same way: the square wave charging the electrode capacitance Cx goes from about 0.6V to Vdd=3.3V at the beginning of the channel charging time thus the sampling capacitor Cs charges in a longer time (image D001).

currently I'm implementing a sdio device in mbed-os for STM32F4. Reading or writing the blocks has no chance to succeed, if timeout is = it will fail. Usually, a timeout=0 means infinit waiting and the function should look like if ((timeout != 0) && (...)).Is this right?

I'm working with a commercial-grade food-service product that uses the STM32L073 in conjunction with an android tablet connected over UART or Bluetooth. For our next-gen product, we're investigating methods to economically implement firmware updates on a fleet of a few thousand units. The one major factor is that we have limited resources (one part-time firmware developer with no filesystem or bootloader experience, along with a part-time electrical engineer), so maximizing implementation speed is key. Hello everyone, I am trying to communicate with lora e5 using usart1, when i send "AT\r\n" command and i try to receive data from the same uart(lora) the function while ((__HAL_UART_GET_FLAG(huart, Flag) ?
