Hi everyone,   I am trying to use multichannel ADC. I have a panel and an ntc for which I have to read the voltage vlaues. We are having 6 proto boards and out of 6 boards only 3 are working properly, I'll outline my observations: Similarities: All six boards can be programmed/erase the flash.Physically, the orientation of all components is the same for every board.Each board has a proper clock and reset.The BOOT0 pin is pull-downed on all boards.All boards show the same VCAP pin voltage (1.3V). Differences: In working three boards, the board is working as expected, but in the other three, it seems it is not running the program.The overall current consumption of the working board is about 20mA, while the non-working boards have an overall current consumption of about 9mA. Actions taken on the boards: Tested a LED blinking code with an external clo

hi,DMA setting is in NORMAL mode i am getting output GPIO-C Port  via tim2_up .HAL_DMA_Start_IT(&hdma_tim2_up, (uint32_t)pixelclock, (uint32_t)&(GPIOC->ODR), 2);it's working fine but i need to enable call back once data is  transferred  .the following  Xfercpltcallback is ""not working "". void XferCpltCallback(DMA_HandleTypeDef *hdma){flag++;}which  call back i need to use  for DMA data transfer completion

Hi,we have developed a board with a low resolution camera interface using an STM32L0xx MCU.Now we want to use an HD camera and for this we have a module supporting USB2.0@30fps of 1920H x 1080V frames on USB, so it is really important to use a USB HS @host configuration with full bandwidth untilization (in the range of 400Mbps). We see on product selector, there are STM32F2 and STM32F4 series (few par numbers) supporting OTG with host USB HS, but we do not see detailed information regarding the actual performance of those chips in host USB HS mode. Is possible to have a confirmation about the performance of that interface? Are there benchmarking data?    

Hi all,I'm investigating what I need to be able to update the firmware on my custom STM32 board (with either an STM32H7 or STM32F7 MCU) from a C#/C++ Microsoft Visual studio application via USB. This is for Windows 7/10/11.I found STSW-STM32080 but it says not recommended for new designs and that it was replaced by STM32CubeProgrammer (CLI specifically). I want my application to do the upgrading of the firmware without the customer having to install any additional software (like STM32CubeProgrammer).Does STM32CubeProgrammer have any redistributable libraries to do this? Is there a better way to do this?Thanks

Hello Team,I am unable to configure ADC multiple channels in NUCLEO-H745ZI if I configure multiple channel ADC, voltage at channel 1is same as channel 2 but I have supplied channel 1 voltage as 3.3v and channel 2 voltage as 1.6v but it is reflecting 3.3v in both channels. I am looking into RAM support for the SMT32H750 series chips for my future projects.The STM32H750 series chips support 16-bit data bus as well as 32-bit data bus configuration. This mode is selected on startup, as far as I can tell.If I were to use the STM32CubeMX tool to configure my chip, would a switch from a 16 bit to a 32-bit bus (and vice versa) require a significant re-generation of support code, or would it be realtively easy to toggle this (ignoring the pin reassignments)?I would test this myself but it seems like all development kits for this series have a 16-bit data bus...

Hello,I am using a NUCLEO-H743ZI2.I read the reference manual RM0433 Rev8.I also read a bunch of topics in the forum but didn't find what I wanted. I am trying to check my ADC sampling rate by looking at the timestamp at my half full/full callback from the DMA buffer. For now I don't have an AWG to generate a sine so I don't know other method to do so.In order to do the experiment, I generate a number via the microcontroller and increases it by 100 every second. It goes to the DAC. I put a jumper cable to the ADC1 so I can read the value.I want a sample rate of 10ksample/second with a ADC resolution of 12bits.I changed the value of PLL2 in order to have a ADC frequency of 1.2MHz

Hi, I use STM32Cube IDE, and use STM32G0 - G0B1RE device. I try to enable the mod register to blink the LED here is the code that i try so far, based on the Reference Manual (rm0444), I need to enable RCC_IOPENR before modify the GPIOx_MODER. But unfortunately it still did not work.When i try in debugging mode via the SFRs by set the value of RCC_IOPENR, GPIOA MODER (MODER5), OTYPER (OT5), PUPDR PUPDR(5), and BSRR the LED was turned on. The LED is at GPIOA (PA5) based on the schematic.Did i missed something? or there is anything to enable before I modifie the GPIOx_MODER?In the reference manual to enable to peripheral in STMG0-G0B1RE the GPIO Bus is IOPORT not AHB or

Hi, I tried to read BluePill board MCU STM32F103C8T6 flash by STM32CUBE in Target information it shows Device ID 0x410 and flash memory size 128kb but by datasheet STM32F103C8T6 flash memory must be 64 kb Why is the difference?  

Device: STM32U5A9-DKBootloader AN: AN2606Reference Manual: RM0456I was trying to enter the system bootloader (UART mode) through programming the NBOOT0 and NSWBOOT0 bit which is present in the FLASH_OPTR register of the option byte region.Now, this writing to the option byte through the application code worked just fine. And we successfully entered the bootloader from the application.However I had to get out of the bootloader and enter the application. For this we need to put the NBOOT0 and NSWBOOT0 bit back to its original state to boot to the application since the Go command will only get acknowledged depending on the NBOOT0 and NSWBOOT0 bit.While trying to execute the above, i.e. re-writing the option byte (FLASH_OPTR register), by using the "Write" command of the bootloader, it messed up the other option bytes as wel

Hi all!I wrote code on my ART-PI development panel that displays a simple filled box and text (touchgfx). I use the following in both projects:FMC with 240Mhz, SDRAM with 120Mhz. W9825G6 data 16bitCPU clock 480MhzRGB888 display, MRG7122 DCLK typical clock signal 51.2Mhz, maximum 67.2MhzI made two projects.First, the peripheral initializations in the main.c file. Display works on 50Mhz.In the second project, I checked at the beginning that the peripheral initializations should be in separate files. The maximum ltdc clock here is 27.5Mhz, above which the display crashes.Why if all other settings are the same? Where should I look for the reason?Thanks!

Hello,I have made a simple project using NUCLEO-H723ZG to constantly transmit data via UDP with some low but non-trivial speed (~2300 1KB datagrams /s). Unfortunately, after about 3h of such transmission, the board crashed, and afterwards, the ethernet peripheral appears bricked -- it fails to start, it does not establish the link with other devices, only the orange LED on the port lights constantly. Otherwise, the MCU seems perfectly ok.I tried with an another board and exactly the same thing happened; this time I was monitoring the temperature of the components but there was no sign of overheating.Do you have any ideas what may be happening and how to prevent that?Thank you in advance

Hi,I am trying to implement IAP through UART on stm32f779I Evaluation kit,  I am using stm cude IDE 1.9.0 and F7v1.17.0 software package.I have downloaded IAP_Main project using st_link. By using tampered button entered into the downlaod mode and using teraterm tried to load the binary file of IAP_SingleBinary_Template example code from the examples through YModem protocol. My IAP is working fine but when it comes to downloading the binary file teraterm is showing only 2 packets is loaded and the file transfer window is getting disappear.Can anyone please help me to find out the issue. Thanks & Regards,k. I have a question regarding STM32L0. I am interested in which address the registers like FLASH_ACR, FLASH_PECR, etc., are located. In the datasheet, I only see their offsets, but not the absolute value is it maybe 0x1FF8 0000?.Also I would also like to know if it is possible to read from the mentioned registers like FLASH_SR, etc., when the MCU is locked at Level 1? Because to unlock it (using an external debugger). Why all this? I want to erase mcu no matter if it is or is not in Level1 or Level 0.Thank you Jan.

Hello everyone, I am trying to make a UART Communication between STM32 NUCLEO-L476RG and ESP32 S3. Hello. I am new to using STM32 MCUs and this forum has helped me a lot in getting familiar fast. I am using using NUCLEO-F756ZG board. I have tried ADC with DMA and timer trigger and it all works fine. Now, I am trying to switch timer period dynamically along with changing DMA buffer. Hello experts,I am using stm32f779I - EVAL evaluation kit, am trying to implement LWIP IAP on this board for that I have used example code from the repository C:\Users\Aravind\STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.17.0\Projects\STM32F769I_EVAL\Applications\LwIP\LwIP_IAP and binary file of application availabe in same repository, it is working fine as the binary file says four LEDS toggles, it is toggling. I have written my own application LED2 toggle with flash base address 0x08020000 and vector offset = 0x20000 and generated the binary file using STM CUBE IDE and tried to run, it is getting into not valid stack address (LED 3 is getting on ). The other way I generated the binary file using keil and loaded, now the stack address is getting valid but my application is not working as expected (LED2 is not toggling). I have attached the IAP code below which is working fine with binary file from repository but same IAP is
