Hello, I've written a software to use the FDCAN (classic frame 500kbit/s - PB8/PB9 pins) on  Nucleo-H7ZI43 (FW_H7 V1.7.0 and stlink V3J13M4 FW)All works fine, I'm able to transmit and to receive message with different ID and DLC by mean Innomaker CAN-USB and MCP2562FD transceiver. If I use the same code on my  PCB and the same microcontroller, FDCAN is not initialized, no messages are transmitted or received.The electrical configuration how you can see on the schematic attached is the same of Nucleo-H7ZI43, in this case I'm using an external stlink-v3 debugger with V3J13M4B5S1 FW. I've checked several times the connections and electrical network, all it's correct from my point of view.To help the analisys I'm attaching also the clock.jpeg and can.c file.Please can you support me? RegardsChris   

Hi folks, i have an STM32F407 discovery board. when i measure the voltage across the gpio pins it becomes write protected. after i dumped many codes but no use. i had attached the screenshot with the error code that it's display. i tried to put jumper between the boot 0 and 5v results no use. i refer so many solution and tried it but no use. so what i do now? @Community member​ @Imen DAHMEN​ 

Hi,I got the VCNL4040 Proximity sensor breakout board. I tried this board with Arduino Uno example solution and works very well.Now, I am trying to read this sensor with an STM32L0 series MCU. I see I am able to write to the sensor by turning ON and OFF the sensor, but I can not read the same or any other registers. The I2C HAL function returns HAL_OK but the value is always 0. Even I checked the signal and tracked all the 0 and 1 bits, they seem to be good based on the datasheet of the sensor.Attached is the Read & Write protocol of the sensor.And below is my code to read a register, for example the ID of the sensor (addr = 0x0C) or measurement data (addr = 0x08). The device address is 0x60. Hi,When attempting to connect to an STM32F030C8T6 MCU, ST-LINK Utility gives the following error message:"Can not connect to target!If you're trying to connect to an STM32W1xx device, please select Normal or HotPlug mode from Target->Settings menu.If you're trying to connect to a low frequency application , please select a lower SWD Frequency mode from Target->Settings menu.Can't reset the core" I have it connected via SWD. Pin 19 of ST-LINK/V2 is connected to the VDD of the MCU. Pin 1 is connected to VDD of the MCU. GND of MCU is connected to pin 20 of ST-LINK.How can I fix this error? I've had the same setup before and that has worked. This is the first time I'm getting this error. I've tried rebooting my PC & ST-LINK. I can't erase the chip because the ST-LINK Utility can't connect to it.  

Hii everyone,I am facing the problem for the data logging in flash.i am not able to keep track of the variable till where the flash memory is filled is there any way to sort out this problem. i am not able to erase the single word to update the address at particular location after writing to the flash instead whole sector is getting erased.

I developed a user device with a STM32G030 in it. Now I want to go to the market. But before that, I want to have a USB port on my board with which users can update their firmware in case my software has bugs. In the STM32G0x0 datasheet (RM0454) in chapter 28 there's a lot of USB talk going on. But I can find nowhere on the internet (ST or other) a simple description like put PA11 to D-, put PA12 to D+, put GND to GND. Put some HAL functions in your code and you'll have like a virtual com port. Now write some python code or whatever. In my world (guitar effect pedals) everyone has a USB firmware upgrade arrangement. Can someone please help me to get my users to put a USB cable in my device and their PC en and then see a waving hand, a smile and a 'finished' message? Help!

To enable LwIP in CubeMX (inside CubeIDE) it needs the CPU data cache enabled.  Ok, no problems, but it doesn't explain why and I can't find why this is the case. Is anyone able to offer an explaination?

Hello,I have developed my own board using the STM32H723VG and two equal sensors connected separately via SPI1 and SPI2.I have underclocked the MCU to 300MHz. The SPI clock is 48MHz while the communication frequency for both sensors is 24MHz. As CS I am using a manually toggeled pin. I am using the HAL and the STM32CubeIDE. For setting the initial registers of the sensors Iam using the blocking SPI TransmitReceive function. While reading a known register value from the sensor 1 which is connected via SPI1 I have seen that sometimes the used SPI HAL function does not return the expected value but returns HAL_OK. Instead of the expected Value (71) i get a 0.So far I have discovered in a test code that the issue occures after using a delay longer than 145ms.I dont know why a HAL_Delay or just anything else which blocks an SPI transaction for longer than 145ms should result in an SPI communication error. I need to use the energy collection mode of ST25 to wake up L4. The software used now is En.X-Cub-NFC7. How can I modify the example code to set L4 to low power mode and wake up L4 only through the energy of ST25?

 i have established communication with a BLDC (Brushless DC) controller. Initially, i send a message to the controller using the function void sendParameter(uint8_t parameter). Hello,I have here two Nucleos with an H743 on it. If it is rev Y, it is the "old" 144pin Nucleo board with the break-off ST-link board on top. For this there is a schematics in appendix A of the user manual. But if it is rev V, it is NUCLEO-H743ZI2 , note the 2 at the end, with no break-off possibility and a different user manual. And this manual has no schematics included. A trouble start as I start my project. While the manual says PC9 = MCO2 is on CN8 pin4 and CN12 pin1, I see a signal only on CN8 pin4. No way to check what's going on without schematics.Please ST folks can you provide this somewhere.Thanks a lotMartin

Hi,I have an external SPI 8 channel ADC which is connected to the STM32,one of timers would generate a 32KHz 50% pwm signal which is connected to the ADC convert pin, the ADC has a busy pin which is connected to the EXTI0 of the MCU.The plan is to use the EXTI0 to trigger 8 16bit SPI reads from the ADC, so after gathering 640 samples I would get an interrupt, to process the incoming data, since Interrupting the CPU 32000 times  per second would not allow any other meaning full job to be done,So I have done like thisPin A0 configured as EXTI0

Hi STM32-Community, I'm using an STM32H743 with ADC3 in circular DMA mode. ADC has a clockfrequency of 48 MHz. I'm using 8 channels within this ADC3 and also configured the DMA with said channels each with a sampling time of 64.5 cyles. I'm using an async prescaler of 6.Calculating the sampling rate for a single ADC Channel I get:48 MHz-----------------                                    =  15,504 Hz ~ 15.5 kHz(8 Channels* 6 (Prescaler) * 64.5)I've put a variable within my DMA routine (which does nothing else) and everytime the DMA toggles this variable, I send out the time needed between each DMA interrupt. I consistenly receive 1169 ms with a DMA Size of 65528.65528---------------------------------   ~ 7.005 kHz.(1.169)*8 (ADC-Channels)Where is my error?Here are the ADC Config:

Hi, I am using STM32L072CZT6 for my project. The device operates in two stages: It wakes up at scheduled intervals, save the number of interrupts received to flash , and returns to standby mode. During standby, interrupts wake the device, the count is stored in the RTC backup register, and this cycle repeats until the next wake-up time. The problem arises after 10 or 20 wake-up cycles (in consistent) , leading to the undesired erase of flash memory . This issue occurs only when external interrupts are continuously received. The problem does not occur when the device is idleI am inquiring

Heyho,about VCAP / LDO connection in STM32H7 series without SMPS, for example in STM32H733ZGT6 (LQFP-144), when using the internal LDO for core supply.As far as I understand, the VCAP pins are for the connecting buffering capacitors to the internal LDO.I have checked the Nucleo (H723) and Discovery (H735) schematics, and for each pin there's a 2u2 cap, but all pins are connected.Questions:1) Is it a must to connect all the VCAP pins together on the PCB?If so, please give me some valid explanation. Electrically this is one net within the STM32, so I don't see why these should be connected externally, as long as each pin is closely connected to its dedicated external capacitor.In a LQFP-144 package these pins are quite far apart, and I'd like to NOT connect these pins - the layout will be ugly enough.2) Is there an upper limit on the capacitor size?Assuming I

i have an issue with my timer interrupt that every 500 us happends and external interrupts (12EXTI) .when the timer interrupt happend , the external interrupts never execute.i dont know why this is happening.i mean it supposed to pending for other interrupts but it looks like this is not happening

USING MCU - STM32H743XIH6As per datasheet "STM32H743XIH6_Datasheet" page 139 it is mentioned that GPIO can sink/source 8 or 20 mA.When MCU will be going to source 8 mA and when it will source 20 mA?Is there any current control configuration inside MCU?And what amount of current Particular I/O will source, if configured as output push pull with no pullup/pulldown and driving low as follows.
