I have a few questions about the DFU mode on the STM32F723. My goal is to enable users to flash a binary file to the MCU via a USB connection. My implementation is that i placed a 22uF capacitor on the boot0 pin then tied another IO pin (EO) in this case to boot0. To enable DFU mode, currently I pull E0 high for a second to charge the capacitor, then switch the pin to an input to make it high impedance. Next Deinit the USB HS Handle. After that do an NVIC Reset. My issue is that after resetting I don't see any new USB DFU device. Even though my USB CDC/HID Composite device is working at USB HS speeds using the onboard USB 2.0HS PHY.Here is my Schematic

Hi community, just a single question as confirm.  I am working with stm32f429.From the schematic the hw engineer decided to use the following pin for spi purpose for communicating with an eeprom  Can you confirm that i cannot use those pins for spi purpose ? (i have tried to select sp1,sp2,sp3,sp4,sp5,sp6) Thanks a lot 

I am developing a terminal device that performs serial communication and Ethernet communication using stm32f429zit6. TCP IP communication is performed between this terminal device and the server, and lwip raw API is being used for TCP IP communication. When this terminal device starts Ethernet communication with the server, it operates normally at the beginning, but then retransmission occurs from the server, communication is cut off, and the software operation of the terminal device stops. From what we have analyzed so far, it seems that retransmission occurs when the terminal device receives a packet from the server and gives an ACK signal late. Is there a way to improve this in the terminal device?The log below is the Ethernet communication packet log between the server and the terminal device. Here, 192.168.0.11 is the IP number of the server and 192.168.0.210 is the IP number of the terminal device. 

Hello Community,Using the USART commands in boot mode on a STM32H723 CPU, I faced following issues:Extended erase (0x44) and writing memory(0x31) to the flash works fine, if I write ALL bytes in blocks of 256 bytes.But if I do a read memory(0x11) after writing one block for verify purposes, I get FFs on the first bytes instead the correctly written data. This happens exactly after the second read block always, even if I write 4 blocks and do the readback then.The STM32 CubeProgrammer also only supports verification AFTER writing all data to the flash, not block by block.Is this a generic limitation in the boot loader ?  

Hi,I'm generating a variable duty PWM on HRTIM1, Timer A, unit 1. It is configured to 500 kHz, with a 217 ps resolution.I want to update the duty value every 50 kHz. It works, but on some steps, the duty glitches to high state (it seems that the compare value doesnt work on these cycles, since my compare value doesnt change on this tests). The PWM configuration is: 

Hello.I am very new in using STM32. I am using STM32H747I-DISCO board. For my project, I only need one ADC in differential mode. Previously, I tried to use DMA with ADC but it never worked, even the "ADC dual mode interleaved" example provided by st didn't work. So, I started to fiddle with "PollForConversion" and interrupt methods. I want to try dual-bank project in my STM32F429 Board. So I am using Stm32Cube : IAP-LWIP Example for the this project. I am using 0x08000000 address for the BANK1 and also I am using 0x08100000 address for the BANK2.When I start the BANK1, than I receive firmware update request from TFTP Client and find which bank active then, I cleaned non-active bank and writing code in BANK2 successfully.*Then I reset the system and system starting BANK2, when I request again for the update code. Hi,II have a BIG problem: at a certain time, I was able to jump from bootloader to a soft but I can't do it anymore. Perhaps I modified something in the soft (it was with STMCubeIde but, sorry, I hate STMCubeIde because every time you change your programming machine you lost configuration)  so now I'm trying to do this with MikroC so I just have to copy directory on a USB key.The only sure thing is that processor had serial port broken so I changed it and I bought it from China (instead Farnell because the had no more when I needed). Posted on March 14, 2018 at 01:06Hi, I'm following a TI tutorial where the author is creating a Init Vector to determine which exception and interrupts are able to that program...He's basically creating an array of pointers to int and pass function pointers.I know that the microcontroller in that TI board is the same than the STM32F4 (Arm cortex M4).I did a overview of the manual and I couldn't figure out how to set your own Vector.Here you call it Interrupt Vector but, it's equal to their Init Vector...The memory of this vector starts at 0x0000.I just need some guidance or example to set this vector in my STM32F4Thanks in advance.#stm32f4

Hi,I made a custom board that uses a STM32H747IGT6 but left the BOOT0 pin floating. In order to ensure that the chip would execute the code that was flashed to the user memory I altered the BOOT_ADD1 to be the same as BOOT_ADD0 (for both the M7 and M4 cores). I read that this could be a workaround until I print an updated board. I was able to connect to the STM within a minute of changing those address bits but now I am unable to connect to the chip anymore (I'm using SWD w/ STLinkMinieV3). Is there anything I can do to connect to the chip again or is it bricked :(

Hello,I am using a Nucleo F446RE board, and I have developped a small program that works fine as long as the board is connected to the PC with the USB cable.Once the program has been tested, I have removed the USB cable and used E5V external power supply.When I start the power supply, LD1 flashes red (waiting for USB), and nothing happens (stuck!).If at that point I connect the USB it works ok.Also, if I press the reset button, it also works ok.Obviously, the system by default is waiting for a USB connection that will never come...Is there a way to avoid that problem ?Thanks for any help !

Hello i'm currently working with the STM32F446RE and i need to implement the modbus tcp/ip protocol, im aware of the freemodbus library but i cant implement this to the stm32cubeide it is always telling me something is missing (like the port.h). It doesnt matter how many things i add to the libraries it always tell me something's missing and i dont know how to solve this.I tried to implement step by step the modbus functions but i couldnt develop the write coils function so i tried searching for solutions and the freemodbus seemed like one but i have this issue.Also im using the w5500. I hope someone can help me with this issue. Thank you.

Hello,I would like to reprogram an ST MCU (STM32F0/C0/G0/L0) during runtime with UART and from a software trigger.According to the AN2606, a boot pin is mandatory so that after reset, the bootloader can read the state of the boot pin and jump to the actual firmware or start to download a new firmware.Is there a possibility for the trigger to be software (like something written in RAM that is read after reset) instead of using an hardware trigger with the boot pin ?Thank you for your response
