STM32 MCUs Products

Hi,I am working on a new product. For this I use the STM32H723 µC and the LAN8742Ai PHY from Microchip.Our schematics looks like this:We have a 25 MHz crystal connected to the STM32H723 (HSE). The MCO is configured to HSE. The crystal matches the clock requirements of the LAN8742Ai. The LAN8742Ai has a PLL that generates 50 MHz. This frequency is used as the reference clock for RMII communication.Now I have the following problem. When we run the product in a climatic chamber, sometimes the RMII communication does not work. The TCP/IP connection is broken, because messages sent from the STM32H723 to the PHY are not recognized by the PHY.So my question is, waht is the frequency for MCO?

I'm using STPM-3PHISOSD for testing with Sigma Delta ADC, but I can't understand the relationship between Oversampling of 800 and right bit shift of 6 in the default GUI. I looked up a lot of STM related materials, but none of them explained. In addition, the SINC filter module is not specified. Can you tell me how to filter and decimate the modulated 1-bit bitstream data to get the final digital result?

When I start my program from the uVision debugger the code runs to a debug instruction in the start-up code.It requires three run push buttons to get it past the debug instruction. The program then works perfectly.This problem only happens when I include a large AXI ram buffer for sqLite which I use for storing real-time data. Hello,I've enable a USB device as a virtual com port.  It works well however sometimes I get the following warning in CubeMX's console when I hit 'debug'.  The warning appears after I 'continue' after the first 'HAL_Init' debug break point."libusb: warning [parse_config_descriptors] config length mismatch wTotalLength 67 real 9" Most times the USB connection appears as a virtual com port I can connect to, but when that warning appears, the USB virtual com port does not appear in the selections of com ports to connect to in Linux.   The warning appears after a dozenI just had the warning appear and I restarted CubeMX and the warning did not appear and can now connect to the USB virtual com port.  Any ideas on what is causing the warning?

I wrote a little program that reads I2C values with interrupts: The Problem is that sometimes it just doesn't work after uploading. I just have to run it so many times till it works (not changing anything in the code). It seems like its just coincidence if it works or not. Hi, I would like to understand why I don't have the right frequency on my PWM. I am working on STM32F103RG.I would like to have a 8Khz PWM on Timer 3 channel 1, so I have configure my HSI to 8Mhz. APB2 Timer is set to 8Mhz. Prescaler to 10 and ARR to 100. So theoretically, my frequency PWM is 8Mhz, but when I measure it, I have 7.22khz. Around 10% from 8Khz. And HSI can have around 2% tolerance so this not the problem...Some one have this problem ? Why I can't be able to have 8Khz ?  

Hi, so previously on other post I've been getting trouble with Poll Conversion of ADC using STM32F4 Discovery Board. Therefore i decided to use DMA instead.I made the program using STM32CUBEMX and Keil uVision to read 5 different channels. All data then transmitted via USART. The problem now is my array (uint16_t adcvalarr[5])  only got the 1st index filled with value. Hello,On STM32F401 is the HAL flash erase a blocking function? (one flash bank, no RAM functions) FLASH_Erase_Sector(idx, FLASH_VOLTAGE_RANGE_3); It's not explicitly stated anywhere. Datasheet says reading the flash while erasing causes stalling, which is also confusing. I guess it means stalls until flash erase finishes then it continues accessing the flash. If it's blocking then why doesn't it have return value of outcome, instead having to use another function like FLASH_WaitForLastOperation. And what's the point of systick timeout in FLASH_WaitForLastOperation if we never enter it while erasing, also systick is not served while flash is busy. And what's the point of having it as interrupt based, since program doesn't run anyway:HAL_FLASHEx_Erase_IT And why does the address space start with the smallest 16KB sectors, which are most likely will be

Hello ! My STM board is STM32-L073RZ. I've had a lot of problem with HC-06, tried to somehow send the command "AT" or "AT\r\n", but I didn't get anything back. The bluetooth wasn't connected to any device because the diode was blinking. - I tried changing the Baund Rate from 9600 to higher it didn't work.- I've tried to add Pull up on TX,RX (I've read maybe it doesn't have internal so I've added but it didn't work) : - I've even took off the voltage divider and it didn't work, It was added from the start like in this example :

Hello, all, and Happy New Year.I'd like to control the contrast and backlight for an 4x20 LCD display (like the NHD-0420AZ-FL-GBW-33V3) using the programming in the micro-controller, in my case, a STM32L010K4Tx. For instance, I want to control the contrast through a user dialog, or use the backlight to 'flash' the display to call attention to it.The datasheet of the display's contrast pin just states, "Supply Voltage for Contrast (approx. 0V)".  A reference schematic just shows it connected to the wiper of a 10-20K pot connected at the ends to GND and VDD. For the backlight, the current is typically 15 mA at a voltage of 2.8-3.3v.I think that I could implement micro-controller control using PWM output pins, but I suspect that I'll need some sort of low-pass filtering, to sm

i have 3 STM32C031G4U6 microcontroller i bought from digikey. no matter what i do i can not program them. i tried a cheap stlink v2 clone as well as stlinkv3minie. i have the swdio, swclk and nrst connected to the microcontroller. no matter what i do neither cubeide or cubeprogrammer recognize the microcontrollers but i can update the software on the stlink itself. it just says no device on target. what am i doing wrong?

So my program which i write for STM32F4 Discovery board has been stuck in Hard Fault after certain ADC Poll code. An overview of my code is : Use different ADC Channels from ADC1 only (just 1 ADC, multi channel) to read 3 sensors. Hello.For my project I'd like an option to update firmware on my STM32U575 over USB Type-C connector either with the computer or with the USB flash drive.Details:Board I'm developing has its own power, no power needed from USB. When connected to the computer the communication between the PC and the STM32U575 shall be bidirectional.If the flash drive is inserted STM32U575 checks for the firmware update file and performs the FW update automatically.Questions:USB Type-C does not have ID pin. Hello,We have the RCC_LSCO of the U5 connected to a peripheral that warns that it will pull this line to ground when the peripheral itself is reset. At the moment, the pull strength of this peripheral is unknown, but let's say it's fairly strong.Does the U5 circuitry buffer the source oscillator that drives the RCC_LSCO output? I'd like to confirm that the peripheral's behavior will not impact the source oscillator, as it could be used for supporting timed wakeup of the U5.Thanks 

Hi all i'm developing a bootloader on a stm32f407. I want to erase all the flash sectors except of the first 3 which i have the bootloader code. The problem is that to erase a sector it takes 1 second and i have an external watchdog on the board that has to be toggled at least every 600 msec. What i have relized is that while a sector is erased the mcu does not execute any line of code :\ I used these 2 functions to erase the flash HAL_FLASHEx_Erase_IT(&FLASH_EraseInitStruct) HAL_FLASHEx_Erase(&FLASH_EraseInitStruct, &SectorError)But both functions use this function FLASH_Erase_Sector(pEraseInit->Sector, pEraseInit->VoltageRange)which takes 1 second long to execute. I measure the time of a function by toggling a pin before and after execution and measuring the pin with a scope.Any help will be very useful , thanks in advance

Hi, I'm using stm32f746zg board, and I need to send message from spi1(full duplex master ) peripheral to spi2( full duplex slave) peripheral (on the same board) and then back to spi1. Also i want to use interrupts/DMA.1) If the message length is unknown to the receiver, what APIs should I use for this task and what callback functions?2) I tried using functions like HAL_SPI_Transmit_IT and HAL_spi_Receive_IT but with no luck (attached example codes) . How should I approach this problem?  

As per RM0456 Reference manual for STM32U5, any attempt to read the same flash memory bank stalls the bus. Can you please specify the maximum time/CPU clocks for which bus can be stalls. Thanks,Akash Saini

i check in the disassembly where it showed cannot acces memory address at 0x8020000 and some other address when redebugging using stm32f103c8t6 mcu is flash memory being corrupted or something else?

I read in reference manual and web tutorials of stm32f103c8, there were "AHB", "AHB1" and "AHB2", what's the difference between them, I know "APB1" and "APB2" are 2 APBs, the "1" and "2" are sequential numbers, how about "AHB1" and "AHB2" are they also sequential numbers, or mode type code for different level hardware standards?
